I was looking for days for new fixtures for my kitchen and dining area to make my house a bit fancier and a bit more modern. I decided on this for my kitchen. I can be cheap when shopping online and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. In this case I wish I would have spent a little more money but for this price I do like it! It’s black and crystals so it gives an industrial but fancy feel. I had someone install it and he seemed to do fine. He was a bit confused by the wiring because I guess this is European because the wires are brown and blue instead of red and blue like typical (in the USA) but he was fine. I have Ben using it for a month now and it still has a weird plastic burning smell but my friend said it will go away soon, it’s just the chemicals and way the light was made. It is good for the money !!! Makes a pretty crystal reflection all around it if you use a small lightbulb (like the kind you use in a small china cabinet) ... show more

I am over all happy but still kinda disappointed because I received two different covers base and everything were correct but the second light I orders the bulb hole on the cover was way too small compared to the other one. Waiting for replacement hopefully I get the correct one.

I purchased the semi-flush mount to go with the same style pendant. The first problem I noticed was that it wouldn't cover the box. The dimensions in the description are NOT correct! The diameter is about an inch smaller than described. See picture for actual measurement of the cover plate/canopy. I ended up switching hardware with the pendant which was larger. I will need to cut a hole for that anyway to install it. The second issue was discovered when I pulled the shade part out of the box. It's taller than the pendant. Since they wouldn't be next to each other, it's not a huge deal. However, what is a huge deal is the third issue: that it's not crystal! It's not even glass! What the heck? The description states over and over and OVER again that it's made of crystal. Mine is clearly made of a clear plastic. It's pretty, but when I already have 3 crystal/glass lights to match to, anything other will not work. I will be returning this. Ugh. Too bad I painted the ceiling & got the area all ready to put it in. I was so excited! ...Was, being the key word... ... show more

I wouldn’t be here had I checked the reviews. I was looking for something smaller to compliment my small chandelier and figured this fit the bill, but like other reviews stated it is too small to accommodate my recess light converter kit. The quality was as expected for the price but I didn’t even remove the plastic because my husband told me right away, that it was too small. I returned it and the company was communicative, and professional. They processed the return quickly. We bought this light to go over our kitchen sink in the bar area of our new home. It is pretty small but the light shines off of the glass very nicely! It wasn't built as sturdy as I thought it would be - feels plasticy, which is the only reason it has a 4 rating. Once up it is beautiful!
