I've had this installed for just over three years on my ASUS Vivobook 17 X12DA. Performance was increased right away after install, with no troubles. This quality performance has yet to subside so long as I keep my drive maintained. I've had zero crashes or errors/bugs related to it. It was a piece of cake to install: unscrew bottom plates, remove old unit, install new (remember they're secured by clips on the side). It took me less than 10 minutes and why it's so easy to use. The memory quality has been excellent, very nice and smooth all around. Would definitely buy again!

Purchased to upgrade an older (5 years) Laptop that has an upper RAM limit of 16gb, came with 8. Recognized immediately. Ran a few memtest's including Memtest86+, everything was good, no errors. The package was concerningly small, though it was pretty easy to install. The video for installation didn't come when it was delivered (I'd expected an email to be sent with a video), but I had experience going into my HP 15 laptop before. Just unscrewed 10 of the same screw: 4 on the underside, 2 beneath the detatchable battery, and 4 beneath the rubber pads. Once unscrewed, I slid the disk drive away, and looked for a long rectangle. I pulled the two secure arms to the side and it popped out. I inserted the new ram by clickingnit into place, rescrewed the screws, and powered it back on. I checked the System Information app and sure enough, the physical installed memory went from 4 GB to 8 GB. I wouln't say that it makes booting up some apps faster, but once I'm in them, they seem to run quite well comapred to using 4 GB of RAM. I would certainly recommend Crucial to a friend. Their price was about $8 less than other sellars, so it was certainly worth it.

Wow, what a difference. My Dell XPS 15 was getting really sluggish. It had 16GB of ram but I was sitting at 85% or higher of memory usage. Did some research and found that the max memory I can have is 64GB so I bought this kit and my PC is WAY more snappy and responsive. Now even when I start pushing the limits with Msft Teams, Outlook, several webpages, Powerpoint and more running, it gets up to about 30% memory usage. I have not tried editing videos yet but I suspect that will work smoothly given it's snappy with all the other memory hogging applications that I've run simultaneously. I've worked in the tech space for years (including at a major CPU company) and know Crucial is a great quality memory supplier. While researching kits, I saw a LOT of no name brand solutions but knowing how important memory is in the stable operation of a PC, I didn't want to trust my system to low grade memory chips. Overall, very happy with this memory kit...it's made a big difference in performance on my laptop.

Bought as an upgrade for my laptop MSI GL75 9SDK Started working right after installation without any tuning. CPU-Z shows full match to the described characteristics. Dual-channel mode just works. The system looks to be pretty stable and fast. Wrt performance it's probably better to buy a smaller volume bars which may come with smaller timings, but 19 is already pretty good IMO. I any case I've bought this pack to have enough volume but not enough speed, and I've got exactly what was expecting.
