    • I had to return a faulty one

The first Kit I ordered consisted of one good module and a faulty one. I spent a lot of time researching to make sure that they are a fit to my computer and that I did nothing wrong during installation. Some reviews said the ones sold by Amazon are fake, but I don't believe it since it is sold on the Crucial store on Amazon, so the modules are likely genuine. What could be is that someone else returned it because it wasn't working, and Amazon just sold it again as new? Don't know... So I returned it, but put a sticker on the faulty module and marked it 'defective'. The replacement kit which came, installed in seconds, and worked flawlessly! I wish Amazon/Crucial would make sure to test the products better, or not resell returned modules, to prevent me from wasting hours fiddling with a bad item. For anybody who thinks they got a faulty one: just put only one of the DIMMs into the computer (on bank 1), test it, and then try the other DIMM. That's how I found out that one of them was working perfectly and the other one prevented the computer to even startup, it wouldn't even go into the BIOS setup, all it did was beeping. ... show more

I like this brand because its compatible with Dell. The ram was a good price and its good quality. Always check the package before installing to make sure you received what you ordered. For gaming this is ok but not the best if you are looking for highest performance. For everyday use its great.

Real PITA to find memory that works in a Dell Inspiron 3910 but grabbed a single 32 gig stick and it worked just fine with my other 8 gig stick that came with the computer (also Micron, ie Crucial). Little bit of incestuous relationship between the two companies and really stupid Dell only supports 1.2v memory. Plus they know they have you over a barrel so this memory costs extra more than some gaming memory. Still it is what it is in the end and this will work in your Dell. ... show more
