If you're new to vinyl or just looking to simplify your vinyl listening experience, the Crosley T400D Two-Speed Turntable with Bluetooth transmitter offers fully automatic functionality that takes the guess work out of playing your favorite 33 1/3 and 45 RPM records. Simply place on an album, hit the start button and watch the AT3600 moving magnet cartridge gently drop on the opening track every single time. When the side of the album is finished, the tonearm will even return to its cradle automatically. Easy, right? Change speeds, start/stop, and raise/lower the tonearm with the four intuitive buttons on the front. Want to play your singles? Just flip the switch from 12" to 7", use the included 45 adapter (if applicable) and hit start. RCA outputs and a switchable built-in preamp make hooking up to a receiver or speakers a breeze. The coolest feature of the T400D is the Bluetooth transmitter that connects to any external Bluetooth speaker (that's right, this is Bluetooth OUT) so you can clean up the clutter and go wireless. This inexpensive Crosley turntable is a bit of a sleeper. Yes, it is made of plastic and most everything is fixed and can't be adjusted. However, unlike it's stable mates, this cheap Crosley has an Audiotechnica moving magnet cartridge and a metal tonearm. Played through an external phono pre-amp it sounds much better than it deserves to (it has a defeatable internal pre-amp, but I have not used it). I am using it with an old Scott receiver and Wharfdale Denton speakers and it is very musical. It does not have high end sparkle in the treble or particularly deep bass, but the mids are warm and clear and the sound stage is excellent. It is very, very listenable, no fatigue, just music. This budget record player is very forgiving of old records and poorly recorded records and snaps and pops are reduced. A great garage, office or kids record player if you are on a budget or just want to dust off some old records and play them without investing in a new system. Highly recommended. ... show more

When first received sounded good but not great. Further investigation found left channel wasn't working so it was mono. Contacted Amazon and they immediately sent out replacement. I returned the original no charge no hassle. Replacement sounds great.(first could've been damaged in shipping). Anyway I have this in my bedroom connected to a Brilliant Soul Soul Tech speaker and couldn't be more pleased. I have a vintage stereo group in my living room and this rivals it. I definitely recommend this especially for the price. Deducted one star only because had to get replacement. Hey it happens. ... show more

Purchased 1 record player and had to return since it was defective. Repurchased a second player which was defective also and having difficulty getting a refund even though 30 days have not lapsed. Hope to get satisfaction from Crosley.

I ordered it for the style and the Bluetooth system, unfortunately the Bluetooth doesn't work, cannot connect to my audio system, some other stuff I don't like is the fact the on and off button is placed in the back of it. I had to return it, so disappointed 😞 Will try another brand.
