The cupboards have magnets, so close and open very nice. The ”fire place” not only looks beautiful but also puts out tons of heat! I really like the quality of this entertainment center. The instructions could use some improvements, it took some level of deduction and some time figuring out how to put it together, some parts were mislabeled, some pictures were incorrect, but I believe assembly has low weight when it comes to rating the product as a whole. It arrived fast, well packaged and all parts in perfect condition. The entertainment center itself was the exact size I was envisioning, maybe a bit shorter, but not a big deal. It is very sturdy and looks great all around! I'm a very satisfied customer! IMPORTANT: the side shelves are in the shape of a right trapezoid, so don't make the same mistake that I made and only look at the front and side dimensions (thinking the shelf was a full rectangle). I had to keep the back covers out for my things to fit inside. Not a huge deal, it can't be seen from the front, but the angled tops don't touch my walls because of it (my computer and printer are extending out the back). ... show more

Received this today. It took me about 3 hours to put together. I’m a 66 yo female. It wasn’t bad. Trust me - I’ve had worse. This puts out some heat! I absolutely love it. It brightens my corner with my 58” TV.

The company says this product is designed in the USA, but it is made in China. In my experience, furniture from China that requires assembly often has a 5mm gap. The US company sent measurements in inches, but converting them to centimeters caused a 5mm gap. The two front doors do not fit well, leaving a 5mm gap between the panels. The back panel also does not fit properly. The finish is low-quality paper glued onto artificial wood, not solid wood. I am using masking tape to keep the door closed, and when I tried to replace it, the paper coating peeled off. This unit fits nicely into any corner and includes a remote control. The LED fire display uses less energy and offers three brightness settings, so you can enjoy a realistic fire effect with or without heat. Each cabinet has an adjustable shelf that can hold up to 15 pounds, giving you flexible storage. The fireplace power cable runs through pre-cut holes to keep things tidy. The timer with automatic shut-off protects against overheating and can be set from 30 minutes to 6 hours. Overall, there is a lot of room for improvement. ... show more

Fireplace did not heat straight out of box. I asked Amazon for help and they told me they could not replace the fireplace insert alone. I would need to disassemble the entire furniture piece rebox it and return it to them. Customer Service ended the chat and would no longer respond.
