  • Lots of Possibilities in a Beautiful Retro Package
Color: Aqua Blue
I really like the looks of this multi-function audio entertainment center. It does a lot, and most things are SLIGHTLY intuitive, but not all. The User Manual is adequate, but they leave out a few simple things that I wound up figuring out on my own. One example is the power/mode key must be long pressed to turn the power off. To turn on, just press the power button. Repeated presses of the power button change the mode. It's not rocket science, but it isn't written anywhere to LONG press (press and hold) to turn off. Leass than a few years ago, "long press" wasn't even a thing I knew about, let alone would try. At least on this unit, as far as I know now, that is the only thing that requires a press other than a single short press. The sound is good and the volume can really crank if desired. The radio tuning dial is analog, and tuning in to a radio station is sometimes not very easy because there is no fine tuning control. The dial tunes past is very easily and tuning back to try to get it goes past it as well. Reception was good, though, once I was able to get a station tuned in. I think this is a gorgeous unit, and all the functions operate adequately but not perfectly. That's probably OK and is part of the nostalgic experience. Analog Audio equipment was always needing so tender care on the past, and this entertainment center is no exception. Playing Vinyl, CDs, Streaming via Bluetooth, Am radio, FM Radio, listening with built in speakers, headphone jack for headphone listening, Aux Jack to use other equipment, connect external speakers with the RCA jacks... It's amazing they have included so much and offer so many possibilities and versatility in such a compact, good looking, small footprint piece of nostalgic equipment. ... show more

  • Almost perfect.
Color: Aqua Blue
Not sure if it varies from batch to batch, but the needle talk on my unit is very loud. I have sensitive ears, so I reached out to the manufacturer directly and was able to get a new needle (great chat support!) but the issue remained. After fearing that I'd either have to return it or resort to only playing vinyls in another room, I read about people who only play vinyls with lids closed for the very same reason and that seemed to do the trick. While I wish it played perfectly right out of the box, the needle talk is hardly noticeable with the lid closed and the rest of the unit works really well. Plus Crosley's customer support was great. So yeah, almost perfect and I don't regret the buy. ... show more
