I'm a licensed hairdresser and I still do hair on the side for a few people after leaving the field. I wanted a new pair of shears and I did a lot of research before finding these. I was unhappy with another pair I purchased at my professional supply store -- they were much more expensive and didn't give the quality of cut I know a good pair of shears should give. These shears are a fantastic value for the money. And they look beautiful and unique! I'm very impressed with the quality of Cricket's products and so glad I found these.

I already had a pair of these and my daughter in law needed some for cutting her boys hair. I knew these would be perfect. They have stayed very sharp. They have a nice feel in my hand as I am cutting. I would definitely recommend if you trim hair at home and need some scissors specifically for that.

Those that use professional sheers know how sharp new sheers are, and keep first aid handy expecting the occasional cut while adjusting to the new feel.. did not experience that with these, & with changing sizes. Straight out of the package sharpness of these would be considered “broken in”, could be how they’re all made or just an occasional product. Definitely were not “sharp” like some reviews stated. They are sturdy and seem to be good quality, especially for the price.
