I'm a beginner diver and this is my first scuba kit I have purchased. I've only used rentals in the past prior to buying this kit. It came pre-assembled and tested by the vendor, which was very nice (especially for beginners like myself). I've used the setup 4-6 dives already and it works great. The console is a great size, much more compact than some of the rentals I've used but still plenty big enough to read. The hoses all seem to be just long enough without any excess floating around. The BCD seems to be quite durable. I do wish that it had integrated weights, but it's still a great setup. Update over a year later: Now I have over 100 dives, most with this kit. The regulator and BCD setup has worked flawlessly, even with it being past due for service. I have done dives as deep as 130' and couldn't tell the difference when breathing, even though this is an unbalanced regulator. I have only a couple of regrets with the BCD, though far from deal breakers: 1) I wish it had integrated weights. I feel like a cave man with my weight belt (though in all honesty, it's great for customizing your trim and keeps your weight separate from the BCD, which is nice for transport, etc). 2) I wish it had better D rings. It comes with small plastic ones, though I wish it had bigger, better ones. I also wish I had purchased a more common brand, as I know no one else with Cressi gear and none of the local dive shops are authorized dealers (I'm not sure how/if that will effect getting annual service done). Overall, it's very durable and does everything you need it to for recreational diving without spending money on extra fluff you don't need.

Only the BCD arrived. The regulator, octopus, and lines were not included.

I have to admit I would like to give the company a 4.9 as the issue I have is only with the marketplace agreement (according to company). Order arrived in two shipments and UPS misplaced the second item for several days and the second shipment confused the issue since it was a single order placed. However, after figuring this out, everything arrived close to deadline. The equipment was exactly what I needed but the extra large BCD would barely fit (in a good way). I didn't see a size chart for this order but I found one on another listing what did pretty good at describing that I really needed a large. If this order had that sizing chart, I would not have had to return the entire order. However, because the BCD needed to be returned, the company indicated their marketplace agreement required a return of the full order. I guess the negative portion of this feedback may be better focused on Amazon, but I didn't think a 5 rating would warn people to make sure they had the right size BCD. I would order from this company again in a heartbeat.

A new diver purchased this for his first set. It comes without a pressure gage but we just ordered one. The price was great and the gear works fine. We took this set all over the South Pacific and used it several times. No problems so far.
