The consistency of this is more like a lighter whipped moosey type clay. Not anything like the other "clays" I have used, but I do like this and what it does for my hair. It is the one I use when I want the looser clay control and not so much the "clayness" in my hair. More of a "run your fingers through your hair" type clay. I needed to switch from Pomade as it was irritating my skin. I tried other pastes but couldn't stand the smell. This stuff is odorless and easy to work with and it gives me volume I haven't had before. Really happy I switched!

Love the way this smells (nicely androgynous) but it also works great. I use a tiny amount on two fingertips to texturize my pixie cut and it works beautifully. It's going to take ages to go through the container but will probably buy again.

My first impression is that the Cremo Sculpting Clay is pretty durable, and easy to use. Don't be afraid to use quite a bit. This stuff is quite dry, and requires you to use a nickel-sized amount to start with. It's also pretty easy to wash out with shampoo, as water alone doesn't do the job. This may actually be a positive, as the water resistance actually helps its durability especially if you sweat a lot, or get rained on. My biggest complaint I have is that the scent is pretty unappealing. I don't know if it is the type of clay, or some other ingredient, but luckily you really don't smell that after it dries. Overall though, for the price, and the amount of product you get, it's a good choice. ... show more

I really like this. It provides the hold I need on some of the more unruly areas but does not make my hair feel all stiff and unnatural. When i run my hand through my hair it does not feel like it has product in it.
