I am very particular about the features I want in a winter coat. This meets all of my criteria plus a couple more. Of course, I want warmth. I also want a coat, not a jacket. Given the length, I always look for a 2-way zipper. I find that to be very necessary to make being able to drive less restrictive. This coat can be closed using the zipper, the snaps, or both. This adds to the versatility. It can be closed quickly to just run out for a short time or not end up being too warm, if the weather is just chilly/breezy. It can be closed using both on really blustery days. The sleeves have elastic cuffs within them, helping to keep the cold out. The coat can be zipped all the way up to create a turtle neck effect, eliminating the need for a scarf. I also look for a hood, because I don’t wear hats. I really like the fact that the faux fur trim is removable. The one added feature, which I don’t usually see or think I need, are the zippered pockets. That can really come in handy to just take a few small items while running out, and not have to worry about losing them. Considering the quality and all of the features, the price is very reasonable. There have been coupons available, reducing the price a bit; any savings are appreciated! I like this coat so much, I may even buy another one in a different color. There are quite a few options. Note: I originally ordered a size up to accommodate layers of clothing underneath. This runs very true to size (not small, like others), so there is enough room. I ended up returning the first one to order my actual size.

I haven’t bought a jacket since 2010, so naturally it was an item I looked high and low for, searching reviews and trying on different things in stores and I couldn’t find what I was looking for. So I figured F*%# it I’ll buy a few and if they all suck I’ll return them. Well well well, this beautiful thing arrived and I was first blown away by the gorgeous color, but oh my gosh when I wore it in a snow storm that pretty much seals the deal. This thing is so damn warm and you know how sometimes even the warmest jacket can still catch a drift here and there when the wind is heavy or the rain is coming down fast? This thing actually keeps you dry and warm without the draft that most “warm jackets” tend to have. I am so happy with this purchase and have received many compliments on it!

I ordered this "purple" (more of a raspberry/burgundy color) in Medium. I also got a Lands End down coat & a Columbia Down Coat-all in Medium. This coat was small, it cut into my boob area (not large chested at all) the seam for a baffle hits right across bust and is uncomfortable. It is tight across the shoulders, and snug in waist/hip area. With longest arms of all coats but also smaller arm area. NOT able to wear a sweater underneath, just a light shirt. I am trying to size up on exchange to see if that works better. Enjoy the style, length, but seems to be more Asian sizing than US sizing one tag says M, other says 6 which is probably why it is snug I wear 8/10. Feels warm. Made in China. Land's end coat( quilted stretch wrap coat no hood) fits the best. Warm, yet not poofy baffles, more tailored, has adjustable waist cinch feature. Allows for a sweater underneath. True medium, and sized for an average womens figure. 90% down- Made in China. Columbia one is the typical marshmallow poofy feeling baffle design downcoat-mid hooded puffer, allows for a bulky sweater underneath though not as warm??? Correct arm length for me it hits mid thigh and is a bit snugger, kinda tapers. Coat is like a V shape, super roomy in shoulder and bust area. Made in Vietnam, doesn't give down %. I am 5'4", typically wear 8/10. If tag in seam is a size tag (which it appears to be), then I don't consider 6 a Medium, that is usually a Small. I live in Rockies, it gets COLD here, and has (-) temps. I will update when replacement L size arrives. **Update-I got the exchange in Large, opted for white, the previous color was pretty but not what I wanted. More raspberry than purple. I truly love the design of this coat, but on me, it is so ill fitting. Overall is isn't as tight and restrictive as the Medium, but again the seam across my bust is super uncomfortable the way it hits, I'm not large busted, It cuts into me in that area and looks unflattering. The shoulder area is much better and would allow for a sweater underneath. I wanted to enjoy this coat, but it just lacks comfort for me. It isn't a keeper, sigh.

This jacket was/is awesome! It had everything! Good pockets, zipper, length, warmth, style, etc. I wanted to keep it but it was a bit too snug on me. They were out of my size (xxl) and was hoping it ran big, but it didn’t fit me right. I couldn’t reorder cuz I needed a winter jacket asap, but like I just said, no more xxl’s! 😩 My advice if it’s in your size, PLEASE BUY IT!! YOU’LL LOVE IT!!! Merry Christmas everyone! ⛪️🎄🤶🎅☃️

This coat is warm, cute, deep pockets, nice hood, furs not matted. Runs a Lil big. So stay true to your size. I went up a size to make it comfortable for a sweater. No need it's plenty of room. Love the royal blue color. I'm getting all the other color too. This was a good price and quality

Everything as promised. Love the color. Size appropriate and thanks to reviews of staying with your regular size is correct. beautiful coat, extremely comfortable and warm (my wife thanks you!). Only thing could be improved is the packaging. We received it in a plain plastic bag which had two holes in the bag, upon arrival...thank goodness the coat wasn't damaged. We really thought it wouldn't arrive before Christmas but it did. Keep having products like these.
