This was a great gift for my daughter. She had fun putting in the soil, seeds, rocks, dinosaurs, etc. It does get a little messy as one should expect, but no more than most any other craft. And sure enough within 3 days just sitting on the dining room table, not in direct sunlight the little chia sprouts were popping up! After a couple weeks the chia has disappeared, but there are extra rocks and seeds, etc that come with the kit so she can plant more. ... show more

Got these to add to Christmas gifts and they were such a hit! The chia seeds grow so quickly, littles will get a kick out of their handiwork! The set is so easy to set up. Comes with a small water nozzle that’s easy for the kids to squirt water into the terrarium. We live in a rather humid area, so you can see the condensation build up quickly. It’s a great, fun gift, but also a great science experiment and it’s self contained, so you don’t have to worry about knocking it over and spilling or bugs. This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. She’s almost 4 and loves growing plants/flowers. She had so much fun putting this together and watching it grow so far. It only took 2 days for them to sprout and this is what they look like after only about 4-5 days. My 7 year old girls loved putting this together and watering it with the dropper each day. Sprouts started only a few days after planting. Last picture is 9 days after planting. They roll out of bed excited to check their project. Definitely work the $. Perfect gift ❤️
