Original review - "It died already, power is on but the screen is blank. It seems despite the misleading listing description, these are not dual voltage units. Either Amazon or the Manufacturer did not select the correct voltage for the shipping destination. These were a gift for family in South America, we assumed due to the listing stating "US 110v 50/60Hz. GB/UK/EUR 220v 50/60Hz" and no 220v option listed, they simply needed the correct cord for 220(not supplied). Turns out these are region specific, not multi voltage units, and the wrong voltage unit was sent. We are hoping this review will help to resolve the issue quickly somehow. Thank you"

Dual dryer is very easy to use. Select type of plastic and can adjust how long. Google times for optimum settings or can default to what Creality recommends. Zero issues after months of use. We did a test with PLA and PETG and prints were noticably smoother.

I didn’t think I’d need a filament dryer since I use a Bambu A1 with AMS, but having one—especially with 2 slots—has been surprisingly helpful. If you live in a humid area, it’s nice to be able to dry two spools at once without swapping them out. For the price, the dual version really does feel like a better bang for your buck compared to single-slot dryers. I haven’t used the filament holes to feed directly into the AMS while printing, so I can’t comment on that feature. What I really like is that it has an auto shut-off when the timer runs out. I also keep mine on a smart outlet for extra control so I can cut the power when not in use. The biggest drawback is the LCD screen. It feels cheap and not very responsive—sometimes it takes extra effort just to get the values to go down. For a product that otherwise feels well-built, the screen doesn’t really meet today’s standards. Pros: • Holds and dries 2 spools at once • Affordable upgrade over single-slot dryers • Auto shut-off feature works well • Helpful for filament in humid environments Cons: • LCD screen feels low quality and unresponsive • Would be nicer with a more modern interface Overall, I’d give it 4 stars. It does exactly what it promises and at a great value, but the LCD is the one thing holding it back from being perfect.

My only issue with this is the screen, otherwise it works very well. When you press to power on no matter how soft you press, it gives you the ripple effect like your pressing hard. It often doesn’t even turn on the first try so you try a long touch, taps or whatever and it eventually turns on. Really not a huge deal breaker but it’s definitely worth noting. My brother has had the same one for over a year same issue but it still works so we will see. In all I’m happy just being able to dry the filament well.
