Its hard to explain this in generalized terms, but to boil it down, this cutter is like working with an engineering sample Android phone from a new company. Everything about this will give you unpredictable and unrepeatable results that change the next day. This is my first toe dip into laser engraving and cutting, but I have years in 3D printing and I thought that business was the wild west, oh no, lasers have them beat. the camera you need to set the task for the machine is wildly difficult to calibrate and as a result probably only 1/2 of the usable space will cut with acceptable distortion. the wifi requires a specific ip address or it cant talk to the internet or other machines on your network. the lasers are notorious for losing power one day and regaining it the next. if you get one of these absolutely get it from someplace with a robust return policy because you WILL be second guessing the purchase within days.

Brought as a Black Friday deal. Reasonable price. Well build (heavy) and works well now after I got over the beginner hurdles. It's advertised to work with Lightburn. But that's not true for a beginner like me, but an experienced user may can get it working. Lightburn doesnt recognize the Falcon A1 pro and its specifications or hardware. Camera and autofocus doesnt work with Lightburn nor the laser power is correct calibrated. I was planning to use Lightburn but as a beginner I have to stick to the software Design Space for the laser (download from website). That's disappointing because I planned to use the more widely used and supported software Lightburn. Still starting to learn about the Falcon A1 pro but definitely the exhaust fan is little underpowered and I will need an additional fan to extract better the fumes when working in the house. Until now all works and I keep learning. I also have 3d printers from Creality which work great.

I have no background in laser engravers. The A1 Falcon is plug and play right out of the box. In no time I was utilizing the software and creating my own creations.

The engraving is very poor quality. Very disappointed with this product all the time with set up and learning to use it for the quality be so poor.

i love it , but contacted support before buying and was assured it came with both lasers, the 2W IR and the 20W.and of course it didn't!! i want my 2W IR laser i was promised with my order!!!
