I just had laser cataract surgery and have been experiencing dry eye because of all the required drops. My daughter has had this little humidifier for my grandson for many years and suggested I purchase it and put it on my bed stand next to my head. I love the little thing. I had another one of these in the past but one night the canister slipped from my hands and it shattered on the floor. I got a different humidifier from another brand and it didn’t compare. I like that it’s quiet, there is no light that stays on, and the mist is free-flowing. It doesn’t leave my stand wet. My older one didn’t have the vapor pad feature so I’m looking forward to trying that sometime. ... show more

I bought this humidifier for our bedroom and 5 wks later, it’s completely unusable. Even though it turns on, the blower doesn’t work at all and more concerning, there was a burnt smell coming from the unit. I couldn’t return it as I’m 10 days past my return date. I chatted with Amazon to explain the situation but they refused to extend my return date. I contacted product support with no success whatsoever. I’ve owned various humidifiers for over 15 years and this is the worst one. Shame on you Amazon and Crane for not remedying this potential dangerous situation. ... show more

I have purchased the larger version of this humidifier several times and used them without problems - except for the white dust. So I assumed that this smaller version would work well. I was very disappointed to discover that this one leaked from the seam where the tank and the base meets after several uses.
