So many humidifiers claim to be easy to clean, and then there's some part that you can never get to without some specialized brush. Not this one! ALL the parts that moisture comes into contact with can be accessed with a normal sponge or cloth. Do watch out for the hole over the motor- it's not high enough to it's VERY easy to accidentally get water in there when you're washing it. I stick some putty over the hole while I'm cleaning in order to make sure water doesn't get in. Still, this is the easiest to clean of any humidifier I've ever owned. The ONLY thing I don't like about this humidifier is that instead of a dial to set the speed, it only has 3 choices, "low", "medium", or "high". So for me, it doesn't adjust low enough.Other than that, it's an excellent humidifier. Easy to clean, easy to fill, and very quiet.

Just got this humidifier to help with an ongoing cough and I love it so far! It's super quiet and puts out a good amount of mist instantly - no revving up or noise to pull the mist from the base. And the color changing lights are really neat! Didn't know I wanted it until I turned it on. It's just bright enough to look nice, but not so bright that it keeps me up. The sound machine was very quiet, but we have our own sound machine we use anyway, so not a big deal. It's nice having it there if needed. It did leak a little bit when I assembled it at our kitchen sink, filled it and then carried it to the bedroom. Supposedly the tank can be removed from the base without leaking, but I am going to test that over the sink once it gets empty instead of trying to carry it fully assembled again. I think it just splashed out of the base a bit and luckily it didn't seem to get into the vent fan, but I'm still a little nervous to take the tank off with a lot of water in it, just in case. But as long as the tank doesn't leak with water in it, I will just set it up where I want it from now on and then fill it. I assumed the tank could be removed with water in it since it says to dump the water out everyday, but the leaking just made me nervous. But once I figure it all out, it's a great humidifier and it has really been helping so far, even in just 2 nights of running it. And it's definitely really easy to clean, which is great!

The best thing is how easy these are to clean. The cover to the mist chamber comes off so all parts can be cleaned. The humidifier works well, I like that there are three settings. The color of the opaque tank of the white one is more purple than shown in pictures. Also the cover to the channel with the exiting mist was not made correctly. It did not snap in because the little tabs did not line up. It was no problem to return it, then I ordered the gray one and am happy with it, although it is darker than expected and tank also has a purple hue to it.

Use this product in the winter when the head drys your whole body out. Helps Immensely. Easy to use. Easy to clean. The light in side droplet is nice feature. Sound machine is perfect. Noise level???? What noise level when on without sound machine. It’s is Virtually silent wouldn’t even know that it is on. And cannot say enough for the vapor pods that Crane makes. The relax lavender pod is in my bedroom droplet really helps to drift off to sleep at night and the eucalyptus pod is in the Droplet that I have in my living room and it works wonders. I would recommend cranes Droplet model and vapor pads to anyone I know in a heartbeat

I tried to buy a replacement water canister when I dropped ours and the plastic cracked (all plastic), and it was almost the same price of a "like new" one. So, the company is NOT green. They are all about profit. And, they are not environmentally thoughtful because now I have to throw a perfectly good Crane humidifier base away, which goes directly into the landfill. Unbelievable. But the new base is TERRIBLE. There are "aroma" holes, where water can get into the motor. How asinine! (see pic) So, you have to be VERY careful cleaning the thing. (The former model was MUCH easier to clean.) I'd look into alternative brands.

I've had several humidifiers over the years , some of them have been Crane brand. I've always liked them. But I have to say , this one takes the cake. They finally thought of everything. This is a really great unit. You will not be disappointed. Small form, good out put, great value for the money. I would recommend this humidifier if you're in the market for one.
