I decided to add this to my list of battery powered tools I have. I have the normal drill, impact driver, sawzall...etc...and we use these all over the house for all sorts of projects. I also have both the little 2mah and bigger 4mah batteries. It assembled pretty easily...just attatch the handle and guard. The handle can be locked in all sorts of angles for just about anyones height or arm length. It has a hi and lo setting which works well. A twistlock allows you to extend or retract the shaft for taller or shorter people. I gave it 4 stars as the spool only has a single and not a dual trimmer line...but im sure ill get used to that. I do appreciate the guard that locks into place on the head, a little wire piece, it allows you to consistently keep your distance while trimming....you can also rotate the head and use this guide for edging your grass. In time ill have to see if all these rotating and unlocking joints have any issues. ... show more

I've had this weedwacker for a couple of years and even had to replace the string a couple of times----It digs deep, it is powerful, the battery lasts a long time and this is from someone who hates to weed. Highly recommend and will buy again when this one bites the dust.

I had a lot of trimming and edging to do and some of the undergrowth had become very tall and thick. The automatic feed worked perfectly and the trimmer is lighter than my old trimmer. The low setting went through the regular grass with ease. The high setting cut through the thicker growth very easily and quickly. I highly recommend this product. ... show more

It works, but not as well as the double string type. I had borrowed a neighbor's the first time I used a weed whacker, and that one worked faster, was more powerful, and the battery lasted much longer than this one. This one, the battery hardly lasts, I wasn't able to finish my small section of hillside with 2 batteries and I had to stay in one spot longer because it didn't trim as fast as the other I used. It's lightweight enough, and I like the telescoping handle especially since I mainly use it on a hill. It also chopped most of the blackberry vines (I keep cutting them back, so it wasn't a thicket or anything) ... show more
