    • I don't know how i lived without it
So I have a few reciprocating saws including the buzzkill. However I don't always have someone around to help and smaller jobs require one handed use which my other saws make difficult. I have used the buzzkil one handed but it makes me feel uncomfortable in case something goes wrong. Now this saw is lightweight and easy to use. I have used it to cut wood and stell including purple heart and re bar. While it is not as fast as powered saws it does get the job done and gives you more control. It seems to be good.on battery as i use it with a regular battery i also share with my drill. I also used this to cut meat . Obviously.i used a food grade meat blade. But it was easy enough and cut through the bone. Needed a good cleanup afterwards. Anecdotally I bought some wood from a hardware store that had reasonably priced lumber but did not cut into smaller pieces to fit in my car. No problem, I was lucky to have this around and just cut up the wood in the carpark! Had a few chuckles.but got it done! All in all a great buy ... show more

If you are reading this, you have had some experience with a sawzall. While it is a necessary tool to have, it can be bulky, heavy, awkward to use in tight places, and the vibrations after a while make you loose feeling in your hands with prolonged use. Enter this bad boy beast of a tool. Compared to my other sawzall, this thing is light as a feather. Even with a big 9 ah battery, it still weighs less than 4 pounds. It cut through a 4 inch post in less than 30 seconds, like a hot knife through butter, and the vibrations are greatly reduced to where I don’t think it will be an issue no matter how long you use this. I would recommend going with a bigger battery, probably atleast a 4 ah battery, as I think that a 2 ah battery would get drained fairly quickly if you put this tool through its paces, especially with a longer or tougher cut. My only regret with this tool is I wish I got it sooner, it truly is a game changer ... show more

    • I’m in love!! Sturdy, powerful & QUIET tool.
This compact sawzall is a power-packed ball of fun!! I have a DEWALT that I love & adore, but I go thru all 8 batteries in a day. Buying the Craftsman brand was specifically so I could use the 12 Craftsman batteries I own, but I do not regret it. I love this tool, and the more sawzall the better, in my book. Maybe bc it’s new, but it seems to be quieter than the DEWALT, which I like. It melts right thru palmettos with the 6” blade. I’m gonna put a 12” pruning blade on it tomorrow for a heavy-duty test run, so will update. All-in-all, it’s lightweight, sturdy, powerful & quiet.
