I was surprised this works so well. I use it to cut weeds and grass off a very steep bank and along the driveway. It easily cut blackberry canes and thick stemmed weeds. Cuts better than I expected. Battery holds up well. Trigger is at a comfortable angle. Tried others but this was the best. The only thing that would make it a better purchase would be if it came with 2 batteries instead of of one

I like the size of the shears/shrubber. It is easy to set up and change out blades and does not require any tools. You do need to watch out for the grease that is on the base where you attach the blades. It also did take a little more than 3 hours to charge from a dead charge. I was able to use it cutting the grass around pathway lights and some ornamental trees and my garden area as well as use the long blade to tidy up my shrubs. All in all about an hour and half before I needed a charge. You cannot cut larger branches on shrubs or trees it will choke it off also the shears will not cut tall grass at the ground .. you have to make a couple swipes at it until you get down to the length you desire. I did cut a variety of weeds and grass around my garden area and seemed to handle it all with ease. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

This little product is the bomb for weeding, Clipping, and lightweight hitch trimming although I have not used that feature yet. I’m just so impressed with the grass clipper attachment! I bought it because I have arthritis and I could not dig out flower beds that somehow got invaded with Bermuda. I don’t want to use roundup. Trying to do organic. So there were several of these products listed. But I decided to go with the Craftsman name since it’s always been known for good quality. And good quality it is. The instructions have clear pictorial information. Everything is clearly labeled in the instruction manual. Note to any new purchasers this product does not come with the lithium battery already charged. I should’ve gotten it out the night before and let it charge overnight. As it was, it took probably at least four hours to charge from zero. The only thing that I think could be improved in the manual is to have some indication of the general amount of time it will take for it to charge to full strength as far as estimate of hours, etc. I’m using this right now to weed a small vegetable bed that has been infested with grasses. I have found that as per the instructions cutting off some of the tallef vegetation first is useful. It also helps if you grab the tops of the grass since my grass is at least a foot long by a smallish clump maybe a couple of inches in diameter and put a little bit of tension on it when the grass clipper goes along. Also, if you have a lot of grass to cut, use a technique of going in kind of on the side and moving it from right to left and back-and-forth instead of just plowing straightforward, which with the stiff Bermuda stems too many of them kind of clogged up the grass cutter. It’s a beautiful bright red color so it won’t get lost in my garden. It has a fantastic safety switch that you must push forward to press it on. You are not able to lock the tool in the on position, which is probably a good safety thing but if you do have problems with gripping, you will probably need to keep that in mind and only work for 10 or 15 minutes at a time before giving your hands and forearms a rest. On the other hand, it could increase grip strength. The tool is easy to clean. It’s very easy to interchange the blades with the clipping pop off mechanism. Everything is extremely straightforward and there are lots of safety latches on so that parts don’t fall off or fly off. Do wear safety goggles as stuff will fly up in your face and you have to work fairly closely with clipping the vegetation. Overall, I could not be more pleased - an excellent tool and great buy. The only thing I don’t know and this also was not listed in the manual is approximately how long a fully charged battery would last. I’m going to try to keep some sort of time limit on it to see if I will use it enough that I would need to purchase a second backup battery. Also, for the size and weight I do have large hands for a woman, but it does not seem overly heavy for a woman to manage and maneuver. This is a huge time saving as I have been staring at that stupid vegetable bed for a long time trying to figure out how to easily get it cleaned out. Using a weed whacker is just too big and two clumsy and gross; it would chop out many smaller plants. This with its size is perfect for maneuvering around any vegetation that you want to avoid.

This product is awesome! I didn't know what to expect from a cordless trimmer. I have used a plugin for decades and I didn't think this trimmer could compare power wise. But honestly, this cordless seems to do just as well as my old corded, plus it is so much easier to use. I ordered an extra battery because I didn't think the 1.5 AH battery that's included would last long. But I finished my first trimming job in a half hour and the battery was still going strong. I know a half hour isn't that long but I expected a battery that small would have fizzled by then and it probably still had plenty charge left. The only negative I can see is that the battery takes forever to charge. Forever. The extra battery I ordered (4 AH) came charged with 2 out of 3 bars, so it had a fairly good charge. It took 8 hours of charging to fully charge that battery!

This thing is tiny, but mighty!! I absolutely love it! Funny story, last year I was using a big Milwaukee brand hedge trimmer and accidentally sliced my knee right as I was finishing up doing our bushes. Left a lovely "Z" shaped scar, but I then realized it happened bc the trimmer was too heavy and I was exhausted after doing them all day. I'm 5'3 and I was able to get all of our bushes cleaned up and my arms weren't struggling or tired by the end of it! I feel like the female version of Edward Scissorhands now with this trimmer lol!
