I have three pairs of these stretch pants, and two pairs of lighter non-stretchy ripstop pants that are older. I was looking to buy another pair of the older pants when the stretchy ones came across the monitor, and I thought, "hmm..." So I tried a pair (taking the "EDC" in the name seriously). I wear them for pretty much everything: work (college faculty), light hiking in South Texas brush country, field archaeology trips with my students, volunteer shifts at the local zoo - Every. Day. Carry. And they do it all! They are a bit hot in the Texas heat, but that is to be expected with ANY long pants. They withstand the sandburs ("sticker-burs") around here pretty well, and I *love* the belt loops. For me, these are just about the perfect long pants.

For reference, I'm 5'9" and about 190 lbs. I typically wear 34X30 in Pants. That said I used to be 6'2" Tall, Dark, and Handsome but then I got married...JK ;) Anyway, what I like about these pants is they are made of some seriously cool material that's no joke....Meaning these pants feel like they'd stand up against the elements...so thicker than I expected. As far as fit for a 34x30 person they fit smack dab on the money. I did have to pull them tight (meaning suck it in) to button them mind you and I was concerned for a sec...but when I got them buttoned they ended up fitting perfectly. That said...One extra taco on Taco Tuesday though who knows??? Your guess is as good as mine. Reason for purchasing: I got these pants because my Son and I are planning on hiking a portion of the Appalachian Trail and I A) wanna look cool (Check) B) wanna be protected against the elements but still be able to move (Check) and C) not be restricted when I have to outrun any of the other peckerwoods that are going on this trip if a bear should happen to show up. (Check-Check - Doublecheck - fingers-crossed) So there you have it...I look good, I feel good BOOM! What more can you ask for for a simple pair of pants?

Ordered these as some work/field pants and I’m happy so far. Stitching is good. The stretch material is pretty good. The stretch to durability ratio seems appropriate. The pants are thin, so they’re comfortable in the heat but I’m interested to see how they hold up over time while kneeling, sprinting, crawling, and and use in kit.

I was hesitant about buying an “off” brand of pants for work. But the material and construction look & feel high quality. The fit is very similar to 5.11 Strike pants, which I really like the fit of. So far, no complaints. I’d say the quality & fit of these equal the 5.11, Truspec 24/7, and high end LAPG pants. These seem made nicer with better material than the Lapg pants, which run small. I’d buy these again. I was worried they’d be Chinese junk, but they are definitely not.

Seller, please contact me regarding these issues and I’ll revise review accordingly. Pants are very comfortable and dynamic (I carry two phones for work as a carpenter) but threads are coming out at knees on both pairs of pants. I was military for 8 years and discharged in 2015, if this company is trying to compare its products to military uniforms, they need to strengthen the threading of these pants. Again, very comfortable but I see myself tossing these after 4 months of partial use.

Exactly what I wanted. Rear pockets are quite deep and do not have velcro which is a positive. Would have been nice to have a zipper though. Front slash pockets are a bit oddly shaped and somewhat shallow, but workable. Lightweight and well made.
