The CPS Adjustable Artist Piano Bench with Music Storage Compartment is 22" long and 13 1/2" deep. It weighs about 25 pounds. Its height can be adjusted from 19" to 21 1/2". The artist piano bench is made of solid hard wood with heavy duty mechanism (silent micro adjustment). The seat is covered with well- padded leatherette. It has a deep diamond tufted seat with 10 buttons for extra comfort. There is a storage compartment under the seat. Quick and easy assembly, you just attach the legs with the wrench provided. Very impressed with this bench! Bought it for my 6'3" husband because it is adjustable and it's perfect. He has never had a bench that fit him comfortably. It is easy to adjust the height for who ever uses it, takes a few turns of the knob but is easy to do. The seat is firm but comfortable. I'm most impressed with the sturdiness of it. This bench is solid! Even with it raised, it doesn't budge at all. It has ample storage as well. Prior to this bench we had a duet bench and I was worried that we wouldn't have room for all our sheet music, but this bench holds it all. At first glance it seemed like it wouldn't hold much, but because of the way its designed you can actually pile up books/sheet music above the compartment level since the top (the part you actually sit on) is also recessed a bit on the inside. So it holds a lot more then it looks like. It was very easy to put together. My 14 year old did it in under 5 minutes. And it looks great!

We recently acquired a harp and I have been looking for the perfect adjustable height bench to use with it for my child. I was delighted to come across this one with the built in storage and the beautiful looks at a much more affordable price point than some of the similar offerings, so decided to give it a try! It took me about 10 minutes to set up upon arrival (you just have to attach the legs with some thick bolts) and we were good to go. This is even better looking in person than online and a real steal given the price. You can pay close to the same for something that looks much cheaper or have this beauty in your home! The wood (which is real) has a solid glossy sheen to it that looks great and should protect against scratches. The knobs to adjust the height turn easily. Everything is aligned just right on this and the top (although not real leather) is also quality looking and relatively comfortable (it's no lazy boy, but it is meant to be a music chair so it's all good.) The storage in the bench is generous - just over 3" in height so plenty of room for music books/sheet music/3 ring binder/tuner/etc. I've had many compliments on this bench in the few weeks I've owned it and no one can believe how affordable it was. Two thumbs up, I bet you will be as delighted with this product as I am!

We were looking for a sturdy, bench that had a stylish look to it. This one works well for us. It supports each of our weights individually, and the legs are very sturdy. The deep brown color is nice, and you have the storage compartment. Money well spent.

Originally I wanted a Steinway piano bench to go with our 80 year old Steinway piano. However, it was cost prohibitive. Whatever I did get needed to be adjustable to accommodate my 6’3” husband as well as 9 and 6 year old children. And for the only non-pianist in the family, it needed to be aesthetically pleasing 😉. This fit the bill! I was worried with the walnut legs it would not look good with the cherry wood piano. But it does! Because the seat is more of a cherry wood color and the legs are more of the walnut, I believe it would go with just about any brown piano out there. I’m actually surprised at how nice it looks considering it is adjustable and was one of the more affordable options I found. I usually ascribe to the “you get what you pay for” motto but I really can’t imagine one of the more expensive ones being “that much” nicer. I can’t seem to find anything about this that is not top-notch quality. So, for those picky ones out there- this will most certainly meet with your approval. And no I was not paid for this review 😜

Very nice piano bench. Stable and attractive. There isn’t much room for storage, but that’s fine. It matches the digital piano I bought. Takes about five minutes to assemble.

I originally attempted to order this bench (or one just like it) from another online company and they informed me it wasn't available any more because the importer stopped supplying them. The import company they mentioned had a different name, so it may be an issue with that particular importer rather than the manufacturer. Rather than take a chance I jumped on this when I found it along with the consistently good reviews. The bench was shipped well and I was impressed with the packaging. The box was sturdier than most and the bench was padded with fairly thick foam on all interior surfaces of the box. It went together easily and for it's compact size the storage is nice. It is pleasant to sit on. The finish is glossier than I anticipated but this isn't really a problem since I wasn't expecting to match our piano perfectly anyway. One of the knobs is a little off center but appears to function fine so this isn't a big deal. The lining of the bench bothered some but it seems reasonable to me for the price. (The top is lined with a velvety/flocked paper and the bottom with a thick satin finish paper. Reminds me of a thin wallpaper.) I will update my review after we use it for some time. It has a nice weight to it (unlike our original piano bench) and I look forward to testing the height adjustment with my children during our next week of practice.

I bought this bench for my 4 year old son. Our old bench was a simple wood bench with no cushion. I was tired of using books to prop my son to the proper height so I wanted a decent bench but didn’t want to invest a lot of money. I was very pleased with the price of the product so I bought it. When I received it, I was even happier. My son likes the bench and it’s serving its purpose well. My only regret is not splurging to buy the duet leather version from this company. If you want a nice bench but don’t want (or have) hundreds of dollars to spend on a piano bench, then I highly recommend this product. Eventually, I will buy a bigger bench and repurpose this bench as home decor.
