This 88-key keyboard case exceeded my expectation. It is roomy and well-made. It is large enough to hold my metal stage keyboard stand, Casio keyboard, music rack, pedal, and all of the cables and extension cord. I will be using it for storage at home, not as a traveling gig bag. I think it is sturdy enough to use as a local gig bag. There are straps inside to secure the keyboard and stand. The reinforced cloth handles and shoulder strap are sturdy. I do not recommend it for extended travel or airplanes as the case is not padded. ... show more

This is actually better than expected. For the price, I didn't expect it to be so well made, to be honest, but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of material! The extra pockets are prefect for accessories and sheet music and books! Got this for our Yamaha P125A, and it fits perfectly! Great for gigs and protection while carrying it around. I have an 88-key Donner and this is perfect! I love the color and the material is great. GREAT value. Enough space for sustain pedal, music, folder and even a small stand. Highly recommend.

Purchased bag and am happy with it. Seems well put together and fit and finish are good. I have an Alesis recital Grand which is a rather large digital piano/keyboard and was having some difficulty locating a bag large enough for it at a reasonable price. Literature on this bag actually says it will not fit, but there is room to spare. Love the pocket for music and the two big cargo pockets. They fit my pedal, digital audio interface, studio headphone, power chord ... all of the other chords ... with ease. Padding is pretty light, but as a piano bag it is beautifully functional. I don't think that you are going to find more bang for the buck out there. ... show more

    • Protection for your keyboard and small compact size when fold it up

I’ll preface this by saying I have a high end portable keyboard case. It does not fold up and it takes tons of room for storage. I needed something that when I’m just driving across town, I could grab my keyboard and put it in something that would keep it safe from all the fur in my car because the keyboard would travel in my vehicle that also hauls around four huskies. Lots of fur floating everywhere. This case was perfect. I couldn’t find anything on Maxim about how much it would compact down for storage. My keyboard is almost always on my stand and I rarely take it anywhere. But I wanted to be able to bring it across town when I’m playing music with my family. This case compacts down to probably about 16 x 16 x 8“. Not too much space taken up. My other keyboard case was the entire length of the keyboard plus a little bit plus the width, and has wheels it doesn’t fold up. It was just overkill for the small amount I needed to move my keyboard. This case is padded. So it has a little bit of protection, and I think it’s gonna work perfectly. It does have backpack straps, but I just can’t imagine putting my Roland RD 88 on my back. Also, all the pockets on the outside will be nice for hauling the cables and my pedal. ... show more

I’ve been perusing for a case that fits my Donner DEP-20 digital piano. The Donner is chunky (like me!) being over 7” tall including the non-removable feet. I looked at many, but the internal dimensions were all around an inch or more too small. This one measures in at 6.8” per the description. A bit small, but likely able to fit if 6.8” is accurate. I was skeptical but gave it a try. It fits comfortably and zips without trouble. It’s snug lengthwise (important to me) and has some play with depth. The height is just right. I love the backpack straps, too. So, if you’re looking for something to fit a chunky digital piano like my above-mentioned Donner, you’ve got your gig-bag. That said, I don’t play gigs, but I do transport it to different places on occasion, and the case immensely helps with that. ... show more
