Very nice looking, comfortable, sturdy bench! We ordered the "long" one. The description says it is 35" long. But buyers should know that this measurement includes the knobs sticking out on both sides to raise and lower the seat. The actual length of seat of the "long" bench is about 30". I'm glad we ordered this one instead of the standard one because that one would have been about 5 inches shorter in length, I believe. Also, the bolts in the leg assembly are quite short and it can be a little tricky to get the nut on with the washers. But overall, it was simple to put together and looks great! I'm very happy with our purchase.

I had 5 different benches I was looking at and made the perfect choice. This bench is absolutely beautiful. It is very sturdy which is good because i weigh 260 lbs. One flat washer, one lock washer and a nut for each leg and is completely assembled. Talk about easy. everything else is already put together the adjusting assembly and all. The finish is high gloss white and gorgeous. The vinyl and tufted buttons look and feel great on the butt. Feels a little stifff, but not a bad thing and will probably soften up in time anyway. As far as packing goes, it was packed so well and beautifully, that I hated to unpack it. The legs came boxed by themselves in pairs with a foam paper wrapped around each one so they couldn't touch each other and get scratched. Hardware and a wrench came in a small brown envelope which I actually got 2, so I double nutted each leg. This Bench was well worth $160.00 and ten times better than the $60 dollar benches I was looking at. Don't be afraid of this one, BUY IT! Thank you for restoring my faith in companies and their quality and packing habits. I am Paul and tickled pink with this one.

This piano bench is absolutely what we were looking for. It's sturdy, stable, functional, comfortable, and adjustable. It's exactly what we were looking for to replace our flimsy, narrow, uncomfortable piano bench. Well worth the money!

Beautiful bench, very sturdy and comfortable. Compartment to hold music is very shallow. The base to the inside compartment is a very thin wood or cardboard. Check your bench before unpacking and assembling. The base on the inside was cracked. Disappointing since it was a little pricy. Since we had unpacked and put the bench together before opening it and realizing the problem we chose not to send it back.

I've had this piano bench for about a year and a half. I use it more than 3 hours a day, and I regularly adjust the height by about 2 inches. One issue I ran into was that the seat started to wobble back and forth. This was because the 8 screws (4 on each side) that attach the seat and storage compartment to the height adjustment base kept coming loose over time. To fix this, I took out those 8 screws and drilled through the existing holes all the way to the outside of the bench. I then replaced the screws with 1.5-inch 8/32 bolts, using nuts on the inside and washers on the outside (see photo). Since doing this, the seat is rock solid and no longer wobbles. The lower screws of the height adjuster are still tight, so they didn’t need the same fix. Another small issue was one of the buttons on the seat came loose. It was however, a super easy fix which took less than 5 minutes. I opened the bench’s storage lid, pulled up the felt board (it's just stapled in), and used a 4-inch piece of wire (I used scrap 12-gauge electrical wire) to replace the broken prongs on the button. I pushed the button back through its hole, keeping the seat fabric folded correctly, then bent the wire ends the same way as the other buttons and stapled them down securely. After that, I just stapled the felt board back in place. Done. Overall, for the price, this is a great bench. I definitely recommend it.

I received the package for this piano bench and it was perfect. It was professionally packaged and no damage at all. I opened it and the bench was easy to assemble. I just had to install the legs, that's it!!! It is beautiful and extremely well made. It is a nice compliment to my new Fesla digital piano that I just purchased from Amazon Prime. I highly recommend this bench.

I bought this bench specifically for the higher weight capacity. I was expecting it to be sturdy and hoped it would creak less because of that. Well, I’m disappointed. About 7 months since I got it, it already creaks a lot and there have been several times when screws have just randomly fallen out from the height adjustment portion of it, which is not functioning properly anymore. So, I am on the lookout again for a piano bench that is actually built to work for larger bodies. I’m not even at the top of the weight capacity and it’s still crapping out. Two stars because it was delivered on time and in good condition. It was easy to assemble and it works in that it hasn’t completely broken, and I’ve been using an additional cushion on top to raise the height. However, I would not recommend it because I I feel like it’s only a matter of time before it breaks completely and the way it’s performing seems to reveal it is not actually designed well enough to handle the weight limit it claims. I contacted the seller about it being under warranty and they have offered to send me a replacement, but I am not optimistic it will be any better than the first one so I requested a refund instead and haven’t heard back from them since. I will update if that changes. UPDATE: They did issue the refund. So decent customer service even if the product isn’t as described.
