A regular fan works a lot better. Even after putting the water containers it uses in the freezer, it still doesn’t cool the room down. Very minimal cool air if you sit right in front of it. Definitely not worth the price or the space it takes up, plus it’s a little noisy.

I don’t know about all these 5 star reviews. Filled it with water and didn’t cool down the room it was in. Maybe if you sit right next to it, it might help a little. I was disappointed and will be returning. The floor fan I bought for half the price did a better job.

Portable AC works good & don't have to fill with water as often as some smaller ones.

Although it is a nice little unit, light and portable, I bought it for the use of the fan, which does not blow as strong as I would like. Will be returning. Not sure how well the cooling option works, did not try it.

Do not buy this Note the machine malfunctioned after 2 days very noisy like a loud waterfall. Several calls emails to technical support. Absolutely no help from technicians they wanted to offer 10 percent as a refund for my inconvenience. Grateful to Amazon for assisting in a return of this product

    • Don’t waste your money, it simply doesn’t work
Blows out slightly cool air if you put your hand close to it but nothing close to an actual air conditioner or fan

The fan was not very strong and adding frozen packs didn't give lasting cool to a 15x12 room.
