Maybe ok maybe not. Might be the terriable epson and it may need a new print head. Recycled the printer and bought a Brother.

My two Epson printers wouldn't print black at all if printer was not used regularly, ie monthly. None of the suggestions Epson said to use like print head cleaning worked, besides wasting tons of ink. Printers have been basically dead for about a year. Tried this product, somewhat followed the instructions, fist attempt I didn't wait the hour, but the black was about 80% fixed, 2nd attempt used about 2 cc, waited an hour before flushing, was about 90% fixed with a few gaps, , third attempt used for 4 cc, let it sit about 2-3 hours, after flushing, was 100% fixed. The product definitely worked. and the tube fit perfectly on the ink jets. Not sure about other brands or other Epson printers, but it worked on my two Epson xp-400, xp-430 printers. ... show more

First let me say thank you. After doing purge prints and cleanings my yellow still wouldn’t print. So I found a YouTube video on how to fix it and bought this stuff. I took everything apart and cleaned all my heads. And worked more on the yellow. Cleaning the lines and cartridge. Closed it up and it still didn’t work. So I did it again making sure to let the solution sit and I only did the yellow this time. I closed it up and did some head cleanings and all is good. Thanks again. The was a last resort for me the try to revive our Epson XP-420 printer. The directions are extremely easy to follow. I ran one syringe of 4ml of the heated solution through the clogged nozzle and waiting one hour before repeating the procedure. Another hour later I clean up an excess fluid/ink and tried a test print. To my surprise, the printer when from having a completely blocked black nozzle and partially (mostly) blocked color nozzles to completely unblocked. Now our old printer - which previously was just a large paperweight - has now become alive again and we couldn't be happier. Same our family from having to purchase a new printer. ... show more

Product works. one thing.I recommend u have a rag handy to dry each nozzle.This is a messy process. U do that and u should be able to use immediately. Do the head alignment thing at least one time.
