Not sure if you've noticed but you can't find these in the drug stores anymore. The new ones are weird. They go on way too dark, are not smooth to apply and the smudge thingy is rubber instead of spongy like this one. Oh and most of them are like a twistable crayon which I did not find to be a plus. This is the good old one you've used for years so if you're unhappy with the eyeliner pencils you're finding in the stores now, you'll be happy to be back with this one. Don't know why they tried to change it. It didn't need any improvement. Color was as expected and it applies wonderfully and lasts all day. This is definitely one of those things where "Don't fix it if it ain't broke" applies.

I have used this product for at least 20 or so years. I blend it in with my Prestige Liquid Eyeliner, also a Black/Brown Color. At this price I’m buying 2 at a time. It’s a great product, and is also waterproof. I’m enclosing a selfie that was taken last year in natural lighting, so you can see my eye makeup. By the way, I sometimes blend this in also with my eyeshadow. It’s a staple of my eye makeup, and I always have at least 3 or 4.

I have been using this charcoal eyeliner for over 10 years. I have tried others but I always come back to it. It's a great alternative for black if you want something less harsh and it has a tiny bit of shimmer in it which brightens the eyes. I also use black mascara and it makes a great combo for daily wear. It will last all day and does not smudge. Highly recommend.

I know this is an eyeliner pencil but I actually use it to fill in my eye brows. Having a light skin tone and light eyebrows it’s difficult to find the right shade that doesn’t look too dark, too red, or too green. This Works perfectly with the color of my brows. It doesn’t smudge off during the day and looks way more natural than the eyebrow pencil shades typically do.

I've been "making up" my face for more years than I care to think about. Mostly my eyes. As I got older, I tapered off on the eyeliner - I used to use cake eyeliner and a wet brush - and now I use Covergirl pencil because, while it still lets me put down a strong solid line if I want to, it also lets me smudge it a bit where my wrinkles encroach. I can blur it or strengthen it at will, and during the day it actually does not transfer to other areas, although it might run a little if my eyes tear for some reason. It is semi-moisture-resisitant, though, and doesn't just run all over the place. At night, I use Neutrogena makeup wipes and it comes right off.

I've been having a tough time finding eyeliner pencils in the drug store lately. They sell the type that you have to twist in order to use. They are a thin stick and they break easily. Turned to Amazon to find an eyeliner pencil. This one does the trick. Color is as expected.
