My first time application. Due to the less expensive price and the long time Covergirl customers, I wanted to disbelieve the negative comments and try it for myself; however I know, now, the others are completely honest and correct. Minus a star for a poorly designed brush that separates and makes the lashes stick side to side to look thick BUT SPARSE. Minus a star for mascara that stays on fairly long [6 hours], BUT eventually drops noticeable FLAKES on the eyelids, face and skin. Minus a star for the most difficult mascara removal process in my life: First I used coconut oil, which I had read was recommended (to no avail), then micellar eye make-up remover, over and over, making sure to soak onto my eyelashes. I ended up scraping this mascara off my lashes with my fingernail against my fingertip. Yeah, even though I took great care, it definitely “BLASTed” off and removed an eyelash from each eyelid. It made the edge of my eyelids sore, when I finally got that mascara removed. I should subtract a star for losing eyelashes and subtract a star for sore eyelids too. …June 2022… So I kept this product and used it again, trying not to give up. I found out it stays on better in the Summer and if you are not adamant about taking your eye makeup off every night, it is better with this product. It is easier to remove the next day, with Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. I prefer to remove my makeup daily, however. I went ahead and upgraded this product to 4 stars, but still subtracted one star for my horrible first experience with it. ... show more

This is a waterproof mascara for sure, i like the brush, even if it is thick it gets to all the lashes, it gives them nice volume and elongates them a little, it also keeps them up all day long and i have really staright lashes. Only downside is that it is hard to remove. It is worth the price overall, great mascara option if you are in a budget. ... show more

I have used many great mascaras but this takes it all. The best ever, I have hard time with my lashes staying in place, this keeps them for 12 hours, have tried it for an event once and it's amazing and not heavy nor damages the eyelashes. Just amazing quality, just can't get enough of it.
