I'm very happy with this. I like to use it for seeing my photos while painting. The photo quality is much better on my tablet than the a hard copy from my printer. Plus I can place it in the right view of my eye glasses making it easy to follow where I am at in the painting. It's very sturdy yes and a little hard to adjust at times but that's ok - it's not cheaply made at all and it is not going to fall apart. I've only been using it a few days now but I could see using it in the kitchen too for following recipes or watching a cooking demo... I do have the holder hooked to a shelf that is not secure so I just have to be mindful of that. I would recommend to anyone. ... show more

I have been looking for a handsfree gadget holder that will not be to pricey. We do a lot of youtube videos and wanted something that will free my hands. This holder is very sturdy, easy to use and the 360 features is a huge plus for what we want this holder for. So far we love it and have been using it every day. I've had several of this type over the years and can say hands down this is the best. I've used it for a week and use it every day, and love it. It's a more solid construction than any of my others and hope it will last for more than a couple of years. **UPDATE** Sep 2019 The customer service with this company is amazing. They sent me a new updated version that seems stronger but only time will tell. *UPDATE* I've had this since this past March using it daily. I thought I'd finally found a well built tablet/phone holder that would last me years but it was not meant to be. Every thing is great except where the white meets the gray. Under the white, there is a plastic attachment that has broken in about three places and now the white portion clamp can't support the tablet/phone. If the manufacturer would fix this weak link, then they'd have an excellent product. I've taped up until I can find a new holder. One star reviewers on this and other Lamicall holders like it have had the same problem. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. VIDEO REVIEW. (no sample given, this holder is 100% purchased and reviewed on my own accord) ***UPDATE 3 weeks later: I bought another one for my wife. She was stealing mine to watch shows while laying down. -_- - It's much stronger than other tablet holders I've used. - Grips my bed nicely, even though there's just 1" of clearance up against the wall. - Also can hold my iPhone. - Doesn't droop. - Two handed setup Maxes out at iPad weight, so anything over (e.g. portable monitor), it will droop unless supported. This Gooseneck Tablet Holder is the perfect choice for hands free viewing. I tried interacting with my Samsung Galaxy E 9.6 Tablet on this stand and it is sturdy but shakes a bit. I can adjust the neck in a plethora of angles! I am very pleased with this purchase. *****UPDATE - Yes, this is a good product. I have had mine 10 months and the neck which holds my tablet is broken. It just collapsed on its own. I expected this sturdy gooseneck tablet holder to last much longer than this. I am disappointed. ****UPDATE***** After leaving my secondary review, I was immediately contacted by Lamical and they replaced the Gooseneck tablet holder with a new improved version. At first I thought it was not so great because I had gotten used to the older model. All of the "flaws" I would have said needed to be changed, have already been made here in this improved model. It is a lot easier to place my tablet in and remove. It appears to be much sturdier than the last one. I might include that my exchange was initiated by Lamical and they got me an upgraded replacement free of charge! Great customer service. ... show more
