    • Lots of globs -- better if thinner
Lots of globs in this product that I have to laboriously comb out, even after trying to apply it very lightly. The ultimate effect after all that work is nice. It covers the grey hairs in my brows very well and does make my brows look thicker. This is the first such brow product I've tried, so i have nothing to compare it to. I'll continue to use a bit of brown powder to fill in skimpy spots, but am keeping this on hand for times when I haven't dyed brows for a while so the greys show. This brow makeup is wonderful. It goes on easy and coats the brow lashes nicely. I find I need to blot the tip of the brush before using it to get the excess color off so it doesn't blot or clump. Then I just brush it through. It darkens and lifts the thicker part of my brows, and colors all the fine, almost colorless hairs at the ends. And it lasts! Doesn't sweat off either. WARNING DO NOT BUY! I did a lot of research and read reviews for different products similar to this volumizing brow gel. The Covergirl Volumizing Brow Gel seemed to be legit because of the positive reviews I’ve been using a very expensive brow serum to help with the patches of hair missing due to plucking in the past. When I applied this volumizing gel for the first time, it was clumpy and looked gross and messy. It dried fairly quickly, so when I went to wash it off with soap and warm water, it completely pulled out all of the hair that took months to grow back. All of that time and cost invested in trying to make my eyebrows full again is down the toilet because of 5 minutes with this garbage. I haven’t been so mad about a make up product in my life. I hope this review helps others so you don’t have to go through the pain of having this happen to you too!! ... show more
