This brow makeup is wonderful. It goes on easy and coats the brow lashes nicely. I find I need to blot the tip of the brush before using it to get the excess color off so it doesn't blot or clump. The product is easy to use. I wipe a small amount on my brow and finger brush it through when it's new. After some use, the brush will more reasonably apply the product. This shade is slightly darker than my hair and looks natural.

    • Lots of globs -- better if thinner
Lots of globs in this product that I have to laboriously comb out, even after trying to apply it very lightly. The ultimate effect after all that work is nice. It covers the grey hairs in my brows very well and does make my brows look thicker. This is the first such brow product I've tried, so i have nothing to compare it to. I'll continue to use a bit of brown powder to fill in skimpy spots, but am keeping this on hand for times when I haven't dyed brows for a while so the greys show. I have tried many eyebrow pencils and never found one that didn’t make me look like Charlie Chaplin so I tried this. It’s the perfect way to enhance your eyebrows and not look totally made up.

    • Absolute Nightmare!
WARNING DO NOT BUY! I did a lot of research and read reviews for different products similar to this volumizing brow gel. The Covergirl Volumizing Brow Gel seemed to be legit because of the positive reviews I’ve been using a very expensive brow serum to help with the patches of hair missing due to plucking in the past. When I applied this volumizing gel for the first time, it was clumpy and looked gross and messy. It dried fairly quickly, so when I went to wash it off with soap and warm water, it completely pulled out all of the hair that took months to grow back. All of that time and cost invested in trying to make my eyebrows full again is down the toilet because of 5 minutes with this garbage. I haven’t been so mad about a make up product in my life. I hope this review helps others so you don’t have to go through the pain of having this happen to you too!! ... show more

    • Not goopy, eyebrows look natural
This product is just what I needed. I am getting old enough that now my eyebrows are getting white hairs! I’m crying. I started to pluck them out but there’s too many now. This product just brushes right over those white hairs and the color matches my original color so it looks natural. Much better than using a pencil. No smudging, easy to wash off. ... show more

When my long-time eyebrow product was discontinued, I went on the search for something to replace it. This product did not work for me at all. I have almost no eyebrows. Because the applicator is a round brush, there is nothing on my face for the product to attach to. It was just a globby mess on my face. I think this product is meant for people who already have some level of eyebrows that need enhancing and volumizing. For my purposes, it did not work. ... show more
