My clients (ages 3-8 on the Autism Spectrum) have fun playing with these magnetic ball-and-stick toys. They are perfect for making 2-dimensional builds or very basic 3-dimensional shapes (ex. pyramid, cube). The magnet strength is not amazing, making a more complex build frustrating, as it will break easily. The actual pieces seem to be good enough quality and have held up so far to being thrown and handled by aggressive children, though I am nervous about the magnets coming out of the stick pieces, so I make sure to keep a close eye during play and regularly inspect the pieces for damage. So far, there haven't been any issues with this, but I could see it happening after more significant use. ... show more
