The unit has been in operation 24/7 almost since the day I got it works perfectly. Nice large cubes. My only thing is the cubes don’t last they melt too quickly. It does make a considerable amount of ice and a reasonable amount of time. I just have to remember to fill the well. this is a great purchase. The fact that self cleaning is fantastic. I usually do that at least once a month and then add water through a little vinegar in there, run the cleaning cycle a couple of times clean it when fresh water through it run the cleaning cycle again, drain it and then fill it up with water in there we go. My ice maker in my refrigerator stopped working and when I called to get a service man to come and fix it, it would have cost me $210. I said to heck with that and went online to find a countertop ice maker that was a reasonable price and found this icemaker. After reading all the reviews I purchased it. I am so happy with it, it works perfectly and the ice cubes are just the right size for my beverage needs. It makes a lot of ice quickly which is a plus. The machine is very quiet which is also a good thing, I am very pleased with it and happy that it takes up very little space on my sideboard and I would recommend this icemaker for anyone who uses a lot of ice. Bought this in Aug. 2023 and worked great up until about 2 months ago. It started making a screeching sound, like a howler monkey lol, when it would draw the water to make the cubes. It also makes a grinding noise sometimes doing the same thing. It’s worked well for as long as I’ve had it and I’ll keep using it until it takes a crap. It doesn’t keep the cubes cold so they do melt- I just make it make more ice if o know I’m going to be using some. Next time I’ll find something that keeps the cubes cold and has a bigger storage area. ... show more

I love the color and the size. Wish the basket was a little bigger. I wanted to use it for a bit before reviewing. For the money it good ice maker. Makes bullet ice. I notice that the ice melts after so long so you don't always have ice waiting which is why I bought it. It seems to run a lot also. I don't know if mine is defective or not. It does work. One thing is ice fills the basket and the sensor thinks it's full but it ice cubes that stacked up in one area and the sensor think the basket is full. The ha dle is flimsy thankfully we tested that before carrying it handle. Comes with a scoops and basket. I like the ice maker but there little things that could make it better. ... show more

As long as you have water in this ice maker, and empty the ice regularly, you will have continuous ice. The cubes are small,but efficient.

This little ice maker did not disappoint. When the ice maker in my freezer crapped out, I priced some new ones, but they were expensive, and I didn't know how to install. A friend recommended a portable ice maker. I looked them up and found this one at a good price and in my favorite color!!

    • Makes the most god awful noises
Works great, makes decent ice. Doesn’t actually keep the ice from melting though. Most concerning thing is it makes the most awful noises! I’m not even sure what the heck the noise is. I’ve only put bottled water in it so it can’t be from hard water build up.
