    • This is a life saver - or actually a couch saver
Color: Beige
About 4 or 5 months ago, I adopted a dog from the shelter. She was almost 6 years old and had been through many homes. This was her last chance, so there's no way I could return her. I soon realized why she had been through so many (aside from being abused at her first home). She destroyed my furniture when I wasn't at home. My couch and chair - shredded and peed on. I sat and cried - full sobbing. They couldn't be salvaged. A dog crate was not an option - she has some pretty serious issues. I managed to find a good deal online and ordered a new couch and chairs. To keep her off of them when I'm not home, I was putting my kitchen stools on the couch every time I left the house. It worked but it was a royal pain. Dragging the stools from the kitchen and back every single day, or just leaving them in the living room - very frustrating. Somehow, I stumbled across the Couch Defender. I figured I'd give it a try. The price was reasonable enough that if it didn't work, or if the dog destroyed it, it wasn't going to bankrupt me. I've been using this product for about a month now. I could not be happier!! The dog will not go anywhere near this thing. When fully extended, it really looks quite large. It extends the full length of my couch and the ends tuck in between the arms of the couch and the cushions. It fits quite well and there's no chance of it coming off of the couch. When folded, it couldn't be more than an inch and a half thick and I can slide it right down between couch and end table, or under the couch. It comes with a bag to store it in. I don't use the bag, since I use this every day and there's really no point in packing it away. This product has saved my sanity. I honestly can't give it enough praise. And the dog is doing much better now. A little training and a lot of patience goes a long way. ... show more

    • Works Well
Color: Beige
This keeps my dog off the couch, he has figured out other products but not this one. Folds up easily and can be stored in a small space.

    • Pricey but worth it!
Color: Beige
Works perfectly! So easy to whip out and to put away. Beats piling up pillows and other items on the couch which always looked so messy and my dog would wiggle her way between to sleep on the couch.

    • These really work!!
Color: Beige
I don’t often leave a review, but I wanted to for this product because these really do work! We just bought a new sectional and we have two doodle who love to lay on the back of the couch, however, they were ruining the cushions! We spent a lot of money on the furniture and even though we love our doodles like children, we didn’t want them ruining our brand new sectional! We took a chance on these and they work perfectly! We bought two to start with and ended up buying a third one . We just unfold them and tuck the ends in between the cushions and it’s done! No more sagging cushions! They fold back up flat and you can tuck the under the couch when not using them. My ONLY complaint would be that they are extremely overpriced for what they are, but in the big scheme of things they are much cheaper than another new couch! ... show more

    • Super easy to use, dog hasn't been on the couch since!
Color: Black

So it's basically a pop up hamper with two ends on it. The $40 price tag is a bit high considering that, but hey, it really works for us. And it seems durable enough to last for a while. Since putting it on the couch our dog just doesn't bother jumping up any more. It doesn't quite fit over our whole couch because it's part couch/part chaise lounge. But even so, she is still deterred enough to ever jump up. I think from her perspective the couch is no longer this big, open, comfy thing she can explore. Hopefully we won't need this forever, but it's been a fantastic deterrent thus far. ... show more

    • Amazing solution to keep pets off the furniture!
Color: Beige
Review Image by E.M.H.
I love this thing! I am a pet sitter and do not allow dogs on my furniture. It has made keeping them off my couch a breeze! It folds up and stores under the couch easily when not in use. I have yet to have a dog try and pull it off the couch or mess with it in anyway. They mostly sniff at it and then leave it alone. I have had zero issues with dogs on the couch since then. It was worth every penny! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to keep their pets off the furniture! ... show more

Wow! This Is 💯 functional. Squeeze it to the left to sit on the couch and pull back when I leave. Very practical . My cane corso and beagle stay in their beds now 😁 Buying another for my other couch. Very happy 😃

    • Best solution for keeping your pets off the couch. Lets *you* use the couch easily.
Color: Black
So I've tried a lot of different things before this to keep my dogs off my couch. I used boxes. I used inflatable toys. I positioned lots of pillows. The problem was that all of those "solutions" created more problems because it was a hassle to take them on and off the couch. In the end my solutions keep the dogs off the couch, but also kept me off the couch. This unit, while pricy for a glorified expanding hamper, gets the job done. It sets up and strikes down easily. I have a three seat sofa. I pull out the sidewall from the very end and move it to the division between my seat and the middle seat with ease allowing me to get back on my couch. It keeps my dogs off with ease. If they knew better they could easily defeat this, but psychologically they're set to avoid mode. If you've got dogs and want to keep them off the couch get this. ... show more
