I don’t often leave a review, but I wanted to for this product because these really do work! We just bought a new sectional and we have two doodle who love to lay on the back of the couch, however, they were ruining the cushions! We spent a lot of money on the furniture and even though we love our doodles like children, we didn’t want them ruining our brand new sectional! We took a chance on these and they work perfectly! We bought two to start with and ended up buying a third one . We just unfold them and tuck the ends in between the cushions and it’s done! No more sagging cushions! They fold back up flat and you can tuck the under the couch when not using them. My ONLY complaint would be that they are extremely overpriced for what they are, but in the big scheme of things they are much cheaper than another new couch! ... show more

Light weight. Easy to extend or collapse at any section of your couch. You can just move it over a little to sit down. In this way it still keeps dogs off of the unoccupied area of the couch. Flexible like a caterpillar - my couch has a 90 degree curve in it. You can either push the ends down into couch or lay the ends kind of over. I thought it would be more like a spring to keep it in place. Glad it ISN’T. Easy to use. Has kept the dogs off so far. I really like it!! ... show more

Works!!!! I Love This Product! Nothing I've tried in the past kept the dog from "digging" on the couch - before now. I received the Couch Defender and opened it immediately. This giant "slinky" folds very flat. I can easily store it under the couch. It pops open and the ends get secured between the cushions and the arms of the couch. Our medium to large sized dog has not ventured onto the couch even once. I wish I found this product before he destroyed one side of our cushions. I only gave it 4 stars because I see a little (pea-sized) hole already and can anticipate minor repairs as the months and years go by. Highly recommended. Update 3/1/16: The minor little hole is only a little bigger. No concerns about that. This Works, Works, Works! The dog still has never jumped onto the couch (as long as we have this product in place - sometimes we forget.) ... show more

Exactly what I needed to keep my dogs off the top of the couch. Great for day use when I am not at home, and easy to store when not in use. Plus my sofa is in front of the window and these are transparent, so the light still gets through.

Works perfectly to keep dogs off the couch. The ends slid nicely into the ends of the couch cushions to hold in place. Color matches with my couch as well so that was nice and easy to fold up and store underneath when you are home.
