I initially ordered only 2 of these on a deal alert. We had 2 cushions sagging pretty badly and you would hit the frame if you sat down too hard. I figured I would try these to see if I could like my couch again, because in this economy buying a new couch seems ridiculous. I like the fact that these go inside of the cushion and not just underneath. I put them in and adjusted so you couldn't see the outline of it at front edge of cushion. Just pushed it so it was sitting more at back of couch. I didn't say anything to hubby or son. Took a bit but finally hubby asked what I did to his corner of couch bc it felt better. After that I ordered 3 more to do the rest of the sectional and am really pleased with outcome. I even bought a 5 lb bag of couch stuffing to prop up back cushions and dare I say it's like a whole new couch! Works great. Made my cushions nice and firm. I have lower back pain which is quite painful sometimes. Hopefully, this will help. You need a really large and sharp knife to cut the foam to size. Probably a good idea to cut them shorter in both directions by at least 1.5 inches or you have hard time getting them into your cushions. As it is you probably need another person to help in installing the foam and getting the zipper closed. Definitely not a job for one person. I had my wife help me. I don't know how broken down people's cushions are but I ripped out the cushion from a chair, got this and memory foam to rebuild it and this was just too much firmness.
