Description

Stunning rich finishes, cream body / neck binding, and contemporary features differentiates this Fender Set Neck Tele FMT electric guitar apart from many of the traditional Fender Telecasters built since the 1950’s. While the coil splitting volume pot allows for traditional Telecaster ® tones Fender is known for, this Fender Set Neck Custom Telecaster FMT covers many more tonal landscapes. This Set Neck Tele easily recreates tones found in genres from Rock, Pop, Metal, Alternative, Hard Core, Disco, Gospel, Hip Hop, Soul, Blues, Funk, Southern Rock, and even Country (and Western). Many various construction methods and ingredients including the Indian Laurel fingerboard mahogany neck glued into a mahogany body with a carved flamed maple top and string through body lend to the deep rich tones and notes that are able to sustain for ‘days’. The 2 USA made Seymour Duncan® Humbucker’s are wired in series for maximum thick compressed output associated. However, the volume knob also doubles as a switch to allow the 2 Humbucker’s to sound similar to a snappy single coil pickup more associated with the Fender Telecaster. The 22 jumbo metal frets, flat Indian Laurel fingerboard radius, ‘C’ shaped neck, belly cut bevel in the back of the mahogany body allow for comfortable chording, expressive bends while and smooth fit when sitting or using a strap. The large skinny neck strap buttons ensure that your strap stays on your guitar during even the most expressive performances. Buy with confidences as Fender’s long history as the leader in musical instruments for all levels of musicians from recording studios to the largest of stages. Countless recordings since the 1950’s use Fender instruments to create songs. This Fender Telecaster will provide decades of enjoyment and may even be used for the next hit song!

  • So Glad I Decided To Buy This Guitar
Color: Amber
I received this amber colored Fender Special Edition Custom Tele FMT HH from Amazon a couple of days ago. I must admit, I was a little nervous buying a relatively expensive guitar online and sight-unseen. So, needless to say, I went over it with a fine tooth comb when it finally arrived. And I must tell tell you, I was pleasantly surprised with what I found. The finish on the one I got was beautiful and flawless, back and front, from the headstock on down. The flame maple top looks really nice to me and the cream edging around the top , and the neck as well, really enhances its good looks. The wood in the fretboard looks a nice dark color and the abalone fret markers on the fretboard look nice also. I could see where in certain lighting conditions these markers might be a little hard to see, but I would be saved by the easily seen black fret markers on the light cream edging alone the neck. The hardware on the guitar is kind of metallic black looking to me and works well with the black Seymour Duncan pups. I was also surprised at how well my was set-up right out of the box. I let it acclimate to room temperature, plugged it in and gave it a spin. Of course it needed tuning, but to my surprise it was not very far out of tune. I visually checked the neck and it looked straight and the Truss Rod needed no adjusting as the very slight concave that was already dialed in was perfect for me. The action was low, just as i like it, and with no fret buzzing, huurah! I also checked for dead frets and didn't find any. The intonation as set up was slightly off, but pretty darn good for out of the box! I'll adjust that later. So I am thinking someone took their time to set this guitar up nicely before it left the factory, and it held together pretty good on the long trip to finally get to me. Now, the best part was plugging it in and finally playing it! Those Seymour Duncan Humbuckers lived up to their reputation and sounded GREAT! I l already love playing this guitar! It sounds good sand feels good in my hands. I will note that I did find one thing I would like to change. The saddle adjustment screws stick up a little bit too far for my liking and feel a little sharp on the palm. Will look for some shorter ones. Overall, I am very pleased with this guitar thus far and think it was a good deal for the money. ... show more

  • Perfect "Diamond in the Rough" Guitar
Color: Crimson Red Transparent
Absolutely Exquisite Guitar. Seymour Duncan Humbucker coil pickups can split to single coil. Light solid set-neck every note up to low-E palm grab easily playable, light mahogany body projects crisp clean personality. Compared to PRS SE DGT and Gibson Les Paul Studio Smokehouse both I desperately want and Fender Tele FMT beats for sound and playability subjective I know and price. Occasionally I want trem bar to bend on open string still wanting PRS SE DGT that unless is a screaming deal the Fender Tele FMT is a better in my opinion. PRS DE DGT comlare well to and also a gem. Fender Tele FMT is a perfect guitar. ... show more

  • Her name is Daphne.
Color: Black Cherry Burst
This instrument is absolutely beautiful. The first thing that comes to mind is that this instrument is easy to play and sounds amazing. You can definitely get some deep chugs and some high squeals. I usually play an Epiphone Les Paul, but she was killed in an accident. I purchased a little Squier Telecaster and I loved it some much that I decided to buy a Fender Telecaster just hoping for improvements on the fit and finish, but when I started look I came across the Fender fmt custom Telecaster hh and I immediately as attracted to her, but when I found out that she has duel humbuckers I was in love and then when I found out about the split coil switch, I knew she had to be mine. She is not a Les Paul or classic Telecaster, but rather she is something in between. In my opinion this guitar offers the best possible option for players who enjoy multiple genres of music. This is my guitar, there are many like it, but this one is mine and her name is Daphne. ... show more

  • Excellent Tele—perfect variances
Color: Amber
Functionality—this guitar has high quality double humbuckers that dissociate into crisp single coils with a lift of the tone knob. The guitar is beveled all the way around in all the right places and proportions. Its very comfortable and delightfully light. The top is stunningly gorgeous and very closely resembles the one on the Amazon ad. Mine areived fairly well set up. Action hight was nice and low. I did have to adjust the intonation. The only reason It is not my primary Tele is that I keep it hung up so I wont scratch it. Probably the best value of all my guitars—and I have quite a few. I recommend this guitar without reservation. For the price you cant beat it. ... show more
