Wow this is so perfect! I live in an apartment building and my window faces other windows. I would just keep the blinds down but I wanted to have the natural light from outside. This was the perfect solution to privacy and getting a better view from my window without compromising my desire for natural light. The designs on the window are so beautiful and when the light shines in it casts little rainbows on the floor and walls, but it is not obnoxious. They are very subtle and calming actually! I didn't really want to turn my room into a disco party so I was a bit unsure about that, but it is perfect! As far as applying goes it was pretty easy, I don't have anything to measure with so I just held the pieces up to the window and marked the spot to cut. It wasn't as accurate but I got pretty close. I would also suggest getting an exacto knife, I didn't have one and was trying all sorts of scissors and kitchen knives to cut the excess off and it was a slight disaster and took forever. Also measure your window before you order and make sure you look at the size of the film. I was stupid and just guessed and it worked out but the film I ordered was long but not very wide, and I have a pretty wide window. I ended up just putting the pieces side by side to fill the width of the window, but that used all of the film and it was hard to line it up exactly to have the designs flow into the next piece so it looked like one solid design. Regardless the window came out great. It hasn't even thought about coming off of the window, it still looks exactly the same as the day I put it on, nice and snug, and that was 4 months ago. (On that note, I would make sure you use a lot of water with a little Windex in it and that will help seal it.) Another plus it doesn't block out the natural light and even when it is dark outside and I have my light on in my room you can't see threw the window. Privacy is intact! I haven't tried to take it off, but I imagine it will be very easy since there is just water holding it up really. Over all, a very satisfying and beautiful solution to my problems.

I used this so I could keep the blinds raised and yet have some light on the little cactus plants I have on the window ledge. Little hard to install, but got the job done. Just be sure to use a spray bottle of water to wet the window very well. Once you squeegee the film to the window, it will create a pool of water at the bottom so be sure to have a towel handy.

This is a beautiful privacy film that we’ve already gotten several compliments on. It gives enough privacy for a hallway or entryway, while still allowing a lot of light in. However, I took away one star because it’s definitely thinner and doesn’t stick as well as other brands that we’ve used. There are spots around the sides that we can’t get to stick. It’s not super noticeable because of the pattern, but we could definitely tell the difference between this and a more expensive brand.

Edited my review: Thought I figured it out, I have to keep re sticking them back up as time progresses. Looks cute but a hassle. Dont know that I’ll keep it much longer. When I started putting this up I was disappointed in it, compared to other window films I’ve used. But I figured out how to make it work PERFECTLY so here’s my tips: *cut it a little smaller vs bigger, it’s near impossible to trim with a blade once it’s up *the curved side should go on the window - NOT THE SIDE THAT HAD FILM ON IT - otherwise it will peel off and won’t settle correctly *spray a lot of water at the top and rub the top edge of the film around, this will suction the top, the rest will go on easily, top suctioning with water is the most important part. If it isn’t suctioning try flipping it so the bottom is at the top, this solved my next morning peeling every time *use a towel to get water and bubbles out, when using a card it moves the whole film around and causes problem - unnecessary

I am a “no overhead light” girly these make it so I can have my windows open all the time I’m sensitive to light and I don’t like the idea of people spying on me at night. These are perfect. You can’t see through them night or day but light shines through, but not so much it’s blinding. and at night they look really cool from the outside.
