Our ottoman arrived today, and it is perfect. Exactly what I wanted and expected. It shipped and arrived in record time (international- thank you seller!) and it was so easy to put together, it took maybe ten seconds. We are using it as toy storage in our living room and our kids love that they can stash their stuff inside and also sit on it. I’m not sure if it can withstand the weight of a large adult, but it seems very sturdy and able to hold a good amount, as long as the lid is on correctly. I hope it holds up well! I’m very happy with this purchase and considering buying another for our entryway as a shoe bench. The only reason I’m not jumping to get another one right away is because it was a bit pricey since we live abroad and had to pay shipping and import fees. If I lived in the US and didn’t have to pay all that extra, I’d already be ordering a second one. ... show more

This little ottoman is a pleasant hidden Amazon find! When it comes all folded we thought "this can possibly be safe to sit on?". Put together in a heartbeat, with a nice divider if you need it inside (we didn't) and wow it works so well. It looks like those more expensive ones you see, no one can tell it didn't cost an arm and a leg to get it. And yes, to date it has held up fine to weight being on it, from out 45 pound dog sitting/laying on it for hours on end, to an adult human male. The only 'negative' we could see, this IS a fake leather, so it has that odd chemical smell out of the package, but a day of air out in the garage and it was fine to use. We love it so much, plan on getting a different color for the bedroom now too! ... show more
