The media could not be loaded. This is a decent product for the price. However, it does feel cheap and there is a lot about it I do not like compared to another or conditioner type of unit. It is important that you understand that, as with any portable AC that sits inside like this, it has lower quality and performance than a similarly priced in-window unit. If your window can fit a traditional AC unit, you should go with those. These are mainly a lifesaver for people who can not fit a normal horizontal unit in small windows on older homes. The remote feels cheap and I don’t love the lay-out - I really wish the buttons were glow in the dark. The display is like a lighthouse at night! We have to cover the one in our room with a thick compression sock because it lights up the whole room. ... show more

I bought this portable AC for my living room/kitchen, which is one giant room. My benchmark for comparison is the 5,000 BTU window unit I have in my bedroom, which is just maybe a LITTLE bit smaller than my living room/kitchen. The window unit in my bedroom makes my room ice cold. I am taking into account the fact that my LR/kitchen does not have any doors to seal in the cool air like my bedroom does. This product comes with a giant hose that you connect to a window adapter that then kicks out the hot air generated by the machine. Even with this hose connected, the hot air present around the machine and the window adapter is pretty noticeable, and I think it takes away from the machine’s ability to cool the room properly. After purchasing this product, I will say that my LR and kitchen does feel noticeably better. But I was expecting to feel a little bit cooler considering the power of the machine. When running it at its lowest temperature of 61, I would say it gets the room to about 74ish degrees, which is a big improvement of 85+ but not totally up to my expectations. You only really feel the effect of the AC when you are standing somewhat within the immediate vicinity of it. In hindsight, I kind of wish I just went with a traditional window unit because they do not produce heat inside of the room and also come with more secure/effective adapters. I think this product is probably best for smaller rooms with doors, although 10,000 BTUs should be enough to cool a decent-sized room with issues. ... show more

In live in AZ and as you may know it gets a little toasty during the summer!!!!!!!!! Anyways I have a very wimpy A/c unit, I needed more cold and this was able to do the job. I’ll run both a/c and this unit and it cools down the room A-LOT quicker which was the goal, my apt is about 700sq ft so small but cooled my bedroom well. Super easy instal was done in mins, remote works well, easily portable, I bought the 10000 btu unit I kinda wished i bought the larger model is my only issue. Oh!! Not a drop of spillage anywhere and you don’t have to drain the thing ever!!!!!!!!!!! ... show more
