So this was purchased for my son's wedding. We were cooking the food off site since the venue did not have a kitchen. First off, shipping was fast when buying. I know that is different for everyone, Amazon said 7 days, but we got shipping notification the next day and fedex got it from Pennsylvania to Missouri in 3. We had placed a pot of steaming hot water closed up in the box for a hour or so before just to temper the box at a higher temp than room temp, just something we thought of. Food came out of the oven at 230 in the afternoon, covered in foil and in the box. Regular metal chafing pans were a perfect fit. It can fit shallow or deep. Box was driven to the venue and left sealed until 630. We pulled one pan at a time as it was needed and when the foil came off, food was steaming! The box was opened and shut about 5 times throughout the evening. We didn't touch a few of the pans (over estimated) and they were sealed in the box for the rest of the evening after the food service was over. We were exhausted and left them sealed in the box in the back of the truck overnight. 1030 the next morning we turned to on cleaning up and opened the box. As we scraped the pans, there was still heat coming off the food. I grabbed my infrared temp gun... Food was still 125 degrees! Obviously it's not meant to hold food over 20 hours, but it's a testiment as to how well it works. I was worried that the time from the oven to time to serve was going to ruin the wedding dinner. Food had dried out just a little, but it was the food type, not the boxes fault. Definitely recommend if you are in need of a way to keep food hot without electricity or flames.

We got this food pan carrier for our family reunion on holidays. It’s a large, well made catering insulated box that is good for either family or business events. We loaded up with food like noodles, mashed potatoes, steamed veggies..etc. surprisingly,this carrier can keep them hot for over 4 hours. I believe it will do a good job for catering and delivery especially in cold weather. Cleanup doesn’t take much time as well, I’m very satisfied with the purchase and it seems very much worth it.

The media could not be loaded. I have a really large family and it seems like we’re always getting together for some type of event. We get together for birthdays reunions weddings and graduation parties. We’re all bringing a potluck dish to share and this is a great non-electrical option for keeping all that food warm or cool during our outdoor events. We just load up our steamer pans lock the door and headed out in our vehicle and we have a great way to keep all of our food safe and warm during an event. I can put my own items in here and there’s plenty of room for any other family members bringing things that we want to keep warm in between service. It not only keeps the food warm but if you decide you want to use it to keep cold foods chilled you can use it as a cooler as well. It does have handles on it so one person or two people can easily carry it from your home into your vehicle and to wherever you’re serving the food. The handles are designed to allow stacking of these containers since the bottom has indented grooves that match the handle shape. I can also use bungee or tie down straps through the handles and strap down this container for more stability while driving these containers and coolers in the back pit our minivan. This is a much better option than having cold food served at family events.

Do not buy. I bought 2 of these. Shipping was fine. Both boxes were damaged with holes however the warmers were not damaged. 1 of the warmers did not close tight and had a small gap all around the gasket/door when closed. The plastic clasps are very weak and cheap. I expect them to break sometime in the future. They did include an extra cheap clasp to replace the one that will eventually break. To return these was a pain. This is from a 3rd party. The mailing labels took a few days to get from vendor after contacting amazon and filing a complaint. The 2nd warmer I eventually kept, threw the box away, I thought the doors sealed tight then used it for a bbq and bottom of door had a small gap. Going to see online if i can get a thicker gasket. I did receive full refund on 1. If you buy. Good luck..

I got this warmer and their is a gap when it should close properly, I called multiple times to talk to some one. an answering machine picks up after it says to leave a message it hangs up on you. very dissapointed now i just want my money back.
