This is a little powerhouse. Okay, super heavy fabrics ... maybe not. But I sewed my Easter dress midweight cotton and a matching purse with a satin liner. I have used it to make curtains and sheers. It's easy to use. It's lightweight, so easy to carry around. My only complaint is the spindle for the thread is too small. A regular (standard) or large spool of thread won't fit, so I've had to hand wind thread onto a much smaller spool. Highly recommend. ... show more

I don't see much difference between this cute one and my other normal one when I use the little one to sew my light clothing, except it is little bit noisier than my normal one, but the sewing feels very smooth.
