I just received mine and for the window thing you can trim it up for it to fit your window. The noise is very loud I would honestly say the sound level is close to a car running. It's not as loud as a vacuum but still can be heard through a door. Honestly, if you are fine with the sound everything else is good. The size is very big maybe 3ft tall. No problems have occurred and my room is cold and great. 100% recommend

Don't waist your money. I unboxed the unit and the plastic it was in and the entire unit was covered in some kind of slimy lubricant. I cleaned it up and tried to set it up. The window vent attachment (the piece that holds the hose to the window plate) will not clip together. They are not even shaped compatible to be clipped together. I made a temporary window vent so I could at least see how it works. The unit does not blow cold air at all ( yes I had it on the cool setting). It felt about as cold as my box fan blows. There is no customer service number, just an E mail.

I ordered 2 of these to beat a 7-day extreme heatwave, to be delivered right before it started to get hot for my elderly parents. Once we got them, they worked really well. The instructions are easy to follow, although it does take a bit of effort to get the exhaust tubing to screw into the 2 ends, but very doable. What we learned (that I want to let others know), is that it takes longer to receive, than the Amazon original date given. I don't have Prime, but I did pay extra for shipping to get the units within 5 days and before the heatwave. But we didn't actually get them until 3 days after those dates. To to the credit of the Costway Amazon team, they were very responsive to my complaint and concerns, urged FedEx to get them delivered faster, and offered compensation for the delays. This team did everything they could, and we did get them before the heatwave became more serious for my parents. I appreciate that so much. I highly recommend this portable AC, but don't wait to order it until when you need it. Give them at least 8-10 days to get it to you.

*Edit* I wanted to update that customer service did get back to me via messages on Amazon, and they refunded my product. Because they did help me I upped the star rating to two instead of one. Short version: Air conditioner doesn't work. And customer service doesn't provide good service at all to help with broken products. Detailed version for insight: We paid 339.99 bucks for this thing, and we are having a hell of a time with customer service trying to get any help. Here's the issue with the appliance, it has a setting that tells you when it's full of water and time to be emptied, well guess what, that function started going off immediatly out of the box. I emailed COSTWAY explaing the issue, and their professional response, was to send us a youtube video of how to completely take this thing apart and fiddle with the computer sensor. Oh I'm sorry, I didn't notice in the advertising that we would have to repair our own products if they happen to arrive malfunctioning at no fault of our own after spending a few hundred bucks on it. It was literally work I did not know how to safely do. We finally got it to work for ONE evening after tilting it around, checking the plug to make sure nothing was blocking it, pluggin it in over and over again. So we thought okay all is well, we just needed to work it. Fast forward to a few weeks later to 90 degree weather when we need it, and no matter what I do it just keeps saying its full of water which is impossible since we were very alert to that being an easy set off to sensors. Ok, so today I called COSTWAY, waited on the phone for about 40 minutes, got someone on, explained everything to them, and they said, "Ok, hold on one moment please". I figured they were gettting someone, but after two more minutes they hung up the phone. So now, irritaded in 93 degree heat, I'm calling them AGAIN. What's worse is the product tells you to go to them instead of amazon, and because I tried to do this the right way, the return option on Amazon has now expired. Don't waste your time on this companies products. Another flag was that in the email, whoever was writing, their English was kinda off, like, not something you would want representing your company so that set off some red flags for me as if this wasn't enough.

Love this thing... issues like "exhaust coupling parts" is true but easily fixed with 2 zip ties. Live in Florida and the dehumidifier and cooling side are amazing. Have had for a few months and still works like a champ. Solid unit for the space it covers. Cleaning water container is a bit tricky, so it sometimes smells but that's normal for this type of product. Maintenance is alway important. 2 thumbs up.
