I bought this unit after a really intense heat wave in the pacific northwest. We wanted something that could at least blow cold air as we wait for our traditional AC unit to arrive. Let me tell you, we are pleasantly surprised! The air is cold, spans a wide range, and has adjustable vents. I'm getting use to the noise, but overall a really great, convient ac. It's small enough in my one bedroom apartment. It's great filling the room with cold air and I live the remote, I can easily turn it off or set a timer. The only thing is it started beeping at 3 in the morning, to signify that the water needed to be drained. Won't stop beeping unless you drain it but anyways I love it!!! ... show more

This AC unit was super helpful for our kids room. It cools down the room quickly and keeps them cool all night long. Love it! However, when installing it into a tall window (had to put the window piece vertical), the window was too big for just the one tube piece. So I added the extension part, but the smallest that could go was too big for the window. If you’re in the same boat, I just used a hack saw to trim down the extension piece before installing it. It came 4 days late. When I unpacked it, the directions did not explain how to install the vent. When putting the vent together, it was difficult and frustrating because the pieces did not fit together well. When on the dehumidifier mode, the directions Say you do not need to vent, however, The machine was cold air from the front and excessively hot air from the back so if it’s not vented that heat goes right into the room you’re trying to cool. Also, I had to drain the water every 10 minutes. Even after running the air conditioner for 3 hours, it was still cooler outside than it was in my room. In order for me to feel cool, I had to stay right in front of the air. The window vent was too long for my standard window. ... show more

This air conditioner is amazing! I don’t know how I ever lived without it. The only complaint I have is that I did have to cut the window extension so that the hose would latch in correctly and I didn’t have the tools to do it, so I had to wait a few days to use it; but it was well worth the wait!

Love the air conditioner but took too long to get here via UPS. They delayed it by 2 days while it was 110 degrees here. Poor rating because of delivery but the a/c works great.
