Got these at a great price on Prime Day. Wasn’t sure they’d work for me because the virtual try on thing does not instill confidence. But to my surprise this fit great, look great and work great! In fact, I kinda wish I got an extra pair. These are going Marlin fishing with me off the Kona coast and I’d hate to have them wind up on a shark. This is my second pair of Polarized Costa sunglasses. The first pair (acquired several years ago on Prime Day) are still in perfect condition but I thought I’d try a new style. I was really looking forward to using these Costa Fishing Glasses, especially after they came highly recommended by a friend, but my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. I’ve had them for a few months and recently took them out on a long fishing trip, where we typically fish for 12-14 hours straight. The copper-colored lenses did a good job at reducing glare, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say. The glasses are incredibly uncomfortable on the ears. The recycled net material they use somehow pushes past the ear guard, making it feel like rough plastic is constantly scraping against my head. It’s a real shame because I admire the company's eco-friendly approach, but comfort is key for long days on the water, and these just don’t cut it. To make matters worse, the lenses are extremely brittle. I bent over to strap down the boat, and the glasses fell off my head and hit the asphalt. One of the lenses shattered immediately. When I called customer support to see about buying replacement lenses, they were no help at all and simply directed me to their website. It turns out they don’t even offer copper replacement lenses, though they have options for other colors. I was also told to check another website, Sportxr.com, where the cost of just the lenses is $350—more than the price of the glasses themselves, which were $250! I’ve been using Oakleys for 15 years, and they’ve held up through some pretty rough conditions without any issues. I really wanted to like these Costas, but after this experience, I’ll be sticking with Oakley from now on. ... show more

They’re alright. The lenses are good, but the frame is uncomfortable. I can wear my costa reeftons all day, but these start to hurt after wearing them for just a little while. Also, they don’t come with a hard case, which is pretty ridiculous for a $200+ pair of sunglasses.
