Some people say that, as you get older, your feet tend to sort of "flatten out" and get a bit larger (from having to support your weight over the years, presumably): I've seen that happen a little bit with me recently, so under that wisdom, I decided to go a half-size up when ordering these particular shoes. I'd argue that these shoes are actually close to being true-to-size: since I got them a half-size up from my normal size (11.5), I have a bit more room in the toes of these than I normally do in my other shoes, so I almost certainly could have ordered an 11 and been fine. However, the ends of these boots are pointy, and the shoes fit fairly snugly around my feet, so I don't think I'll have much of an issue with them being a half-size up: if anything, they feel even more comfortable than they ordinarily would. So you'll have to be the judge based on how snugly your typical shoes fit you, but I think most people will be fine ordering their typical size. Durability is always an issue when it comes to shoes, but these shoes both look and feel well-made...I'll have to post an update after some time has passed, but so far, I feel confident about them: I'd have to say I recommend them!

Amazon is flooded with really cheap, low quality products. Most of those are so bad that you are basically throwing your money away when you buy them. I've ended up with some truly awful products, that looked like a good deal, but ended up being terrible. These boots are cheap. I'm talking CHEAP. However, when comparing them to the real garbage, they seem decent. If you want to know how cheep these are, look at the heels. They painted them to look like they are layered. They are not. At best they are two layers of plastic, with some grip molded into the bottom layer. The pleather they used is okay. It's just about the best thing about these boots. It looks and feels somewhat nice. These fit well and are not uncomfortable. I know that's a just what you want in a pair of boots - not uncomfortable, but that's as good as it gets here. The reason you buy these boots is because you are on a super tight budget and can't afford to waste money. If that's you situation, these are pretty much as good as it gets. If you ignore the price point and just compare these to good quality boots, they get destroyed faster than a frat boy on spring break. All considered, these are best in class, as long as you're talking about the bottom class.

My wife and I do not to get to go out often since we have a little one with no one to watch him. We get a babysitter once in a while, so when we do get a chance to go out, we like to live it up as much as we can to enjoy it. We like to dress up but stay casual depending on where we are going and when I saw this pair of shoes pop up in my feed, I knew this would make the perfect addition to my wardrobe and still be comfortable while I am out. The shoes itself fit me perfectly. I got a size eleven and have not had any issues with them. They are pretty comfortable to wear, especially when walking around. I like to wear them to dinner with a nice pair of jeans and they shoes just really complete the outfit. Love them.
