The sofa is small but very comfortable and firm. I love that the back cushions Velcro to the back of the sofa so they don’t move around. It’s awesome for my kids to sit on but dad and I are also very comfortable sitting on it as well. I’d say it can seat 3 people comfortably. East to assemble. It took less than 30 minutes by myself. An included Allen wrench was all that was needed to screw in the legs. All the panels slide into each other and the cushions Velcro onto the frame. The velvet is very smooth and soft to touch. The seat length across is about 5’6”. The cushions are firm and plump. Comfortable to lay on. The only potential issue is that the from right leg is slanted outwards due to the base plate being slanted out of the box, causing the leg to be slanted even when screwed on tight. I don’t know if this will affect stability over time. There is a very subtle smell probably from manufacturing when you put your nose up to it, but I hope it fades over time. It was easy to put together by myself and is comfortably firm the way I like it. I did have to use a hammer to get the back to fit all the way in the brackets....if you do that, put padding over the velvet or it will split! Oops! I love the way the couch looks in my condo and now my futon is in the guest room for my guests! I live upstairs so I helped the poor UPS driver get it to my condo.
