I'm not one to post reviews often, but after the disaster my last couch was, I wanted to take the time to recommend this one - which is a real couch. It's a bit more than what I like to spend on this, and I only have had it for a month, but I think this could be a couch I get good use out of for many, many years, than that's an important aspect here. Some said it's hard to put together and I agree, it was challenging, but that's mainly because I did it alone. So in a way, it's not that hard, if one person alone can do it in just 1-2 hours. It's very stylish, and the velvet is of very good quality (as others said, it's more on the green side, so like a tealish-green, perhaps). It is on the firm side, for sure, but that's a good thing, as you can put down something on it, and you don't have to worry about sliding off the side, and you don't sink when you sit down. And despite the firmness, it's very comfortable. It really looks made to last, which is what I wanted most. My last couch was garbage within a year, and that's simply unacceptable. Structurally vastly better than the Pin Tufted Transitional Futon. You honestly caused me to lose faith in dhp with the Pin Tufted Transitional Futon that lasted about 18 months before the middle legs broke (one completely and the other partially). I was not going to be a customer again, and actually didn't know that Cosmopolitan's CosmoLiving was dhp. I am overly satisfied with this Sofa bed. The metal structural leg system is positively outstanding. The springs in the cushions are exceeding superior to the very uncomfortable Pin Tufted Transitional Futon. The arm rests makes it so that if you are like me and lay your head on the arm rests you won't get a really bad neck pain (because of better design and shape of CosmoLiving armrest) compared to Pin Tufted Transitional Futon which would give me a really bad neck pain every time. Overall I am shocked at how well this is made. Wasn't too happy at first with only those 3 colors to choose from, but the Teal works out fine. ... show more

Couch is NOWHERE near as dark as the picture shows. This is a Jacksonville Jaguars Teal - not an emerald dark teal. Nor as “sleek” they tried to make it out to be. something from Walmart for $49 would have looked better. Then when I put it together — the pieces were mislabeled. Causing 10 minutes of confusion and explicit language. Took awhile to get the last conjoining piece on because the measurements were wrong on the already attached pieces in the box. Very firm and the zipper broke on the back end, NOT WORTH THE MONEY. but overall Unsatisfied with price for what showed up. ... show more

I’ve had this couch for about a month and it still has a toxic odor to it. I was hoping it would “off gas” by now. If I hadn’t already lugged it upstairs and assembled it I would return it.     • Beautiful but hurt my back (cause I’m heavy set)

I am heavy and hurt my back when used as bed (the middle iron) when the back is down leaves an upward bump so you role off. Green is very intense and I loved it but my space was to small for it. I’d love in a nice party venue next to a large Statue of Liberty ❤️❤️❤️ Or a beautiful outside pool area ! ... show more

Love the minimalist style. It is firm but does have some give (and will probably be more comfortable with time). I put it together by myself which was tricky at points due to the weight of the couch so with two people it would be a breeze! The Color is perfect. It’s good-looking, but not for lounging or sleeping. It’s better for a waiting room or office but not for Netflix. A friend helped me put it together. Do not sit in the middle if you want to keep your tailbone. The fabric smells funny so I’m still waiting for that to subside. I think I will go ahead and spend extra for the comfort next time. I suggest buying from a furniture store where you can test it out first and have it delivered. That is what I will do after I finish the payments on this. ... show more
