Description

Vengeance LPX memory is designed for high performance overclocking. The heat spreader is made of pure aluminum for faster heat dissipation, and the eight layer PCB helps manage heat and provides superior overclocking headroom. Each IC is individually screened for performance potential. The DDR4 form factor is optimized for the latest Intel X99 and 100 Series motherboards and offers higher frequencies, greater bandwidth, and lower power consumption than DDR3 modules. Vengeance LPX DDR4 modules are compatibility tested across X99 and 100 Series motherboards for reliably fast performance. • Delivers What It Promises
I'm running this on an MSI Carbon Pro Gaming board with the latest BIOS and XMP turned on. It's been rock solid @ 3200MHz. My home studio PC was getting a bit long in the tooth and was struggling to run several of the software synthesizers I am using, so I decided to build a new box from scratch and image my studio PC onto it. This RAM has performed flawlessly, even under some pretty heavy loads with multiple Omnisphere, UVI and Arturia vCollection synths, effects etc. These would have killed my old PC. As time (and money) permit I'll probably buy another 2 sticks to max out the board. I'm very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

  • Corsair RAM, Solid and Reliable
I’ve used these Vengeance RAM kits from Corsair since DDR3 and have never had any complaints. They are well built with a discrete but stylish heatsink and they just work for a decent price for good RAM. Corsair makes great products and although there is a small premium, I don’t believe it too be asking too much. If you need fast and reliable ram then this is easy to recommend. ... show more

  • DIMMs that Deliver
Wow. Speed, performance and attitude. Unquestionably some of the best memory I have ever purchased. Excellent choice for any build and the 3200Mhz sweet spot for DDR4 is spot on. Design and engineering are exceptional. There small foot print aids with airflow and cooling too. A solid purchase. Would buy again... ... show more

  • 32GB might be overkill
I’d rather have too much than not enough. 16GB x 2 should last for quite a long time before an upgrade is needed. The RAM performs well and has not caused any issues with the system.

  • Unstable at 3200Mhz
The kit looks good and worked in the default 2133Mhz config. Unfortunately enabling the XMP profile to support the full 3200MHz did not boot. Thankfully the ASUS motherboard ASUS PRIME Z270M-Plus LGA1151 DDR4 HDMI DVI VGA M.2 USB 3.1 Z270 mATX Motherboard detected the failed boot and fell back to safe settings on the next reboot. I was eventually able to get 3200MHz working by increasing the voltage to 1.365 (instead of the stated 1.35) but even then had stability issues, so in the end I decided to return the memory. I replaced it with the Patriot Viper 4 Patriot Viper 4 32GB (2x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 3000MHz (PC4-24000) Dual CH UDIMM Memory Module Kit, CL=16, Unbuffered, Non-ECC, 1.35V, Black/Red because it was on sale at a local store and had good reviews. So far it works fine. ... show more

  • Can't go wrong with Corsair Vengeance
Good set of ram. Put it in a new ryzen build and it works great. Just make sure you enable the XMP profile so that you can take advantage of the full 3200mhz. Ram is a little pricey right now, but this is definitely worth the cost. Never had any issues out of Corsair Vengeance ram.

  • Some issues with Ryzen 2700
I have had problems with my PC build for several months, and it seems that it was a compatibility issue with the memory. (MSI Pro Carbon AC MB, Ryzen 2700x CPU) I was told that Ryzen CPU's like faster memory, and perform better with that. I "overclocked" the memory to 3200 and had systems hangs, errors, and crashes, even when not gaming. I thought the GPU might be bad, but I bought a GT1030 just to check, and still had problems. Even setting the memory to the speed the CPU is made for (2933, I think) does not work. When I check the speed using CPU-Z it shows a much lower number, like 1066MHz. I currently have one of the modules removed and the system has been stable for a week now, but still have lower RAM speed than it is set for in the BIOS. The Corsair Vengeance memory that I had in my Intel build worked great! I guess this just isn't the memory to use with my current configuration. I can't afford to replace it now, but I will sometime. So be very careful to buy the correct memory for your system. ... show more

  • Full 3200Mhz clock speeds with Ryzen 5 2600 + MSI B450M Bazooka motherboard
Was able to achieve 3200Mhz clocks speeds with my Ryzen 5 2600 and MSI B450M Bazooka motherboard using XMP Profile. Noticeable higher framerates and smoother gameplay compared to my old 2400Mhz RAM. Games like The Division 2 run much smoother and the constant stuttering and frame dips are now gone. Very happy with my purchase. ... show more
