  • It's a good mouse seems to last longer then the razor one
Style: Elite
Good mouse my brothers went out after like 3 years so ordered him some replacements they last pretty long...good for playing world of warcraft on... Only issue I have with them is you need software to use them...But they last a lot longer then razor mice... Used to love razor but they started to not last as long... So if you play games I'd Def recommend this one over razor....The razors used to be good but they seem to have started using cheaper parts so they don't last as long as this one so def a 5 star for this on... This is my own personal experience with using both mice... So it may differ with you... both are definitely still good to use but I definitely recommend this one...Ty for reading and I hope my review may help someone ... show more

the size is perfect, it looks really nice, its easy to use and dosnt hurt my hand for long extents of play, very responsive , though i dont understand the weights on the bottom as they dont change the weight like what so ever at least it dosnt feel like it changes the weight.

  • Had some setup issues - but now working EXCELLENT! Love this mouse! Had some setup issues - but now working EXCELLENT! Love this mouse!
Style: Elite
Very Concerned about this purchase! First, the package arrived highly damaged - The box had clearly been previously opened (The circular tabs that seal it, had been peeled back and tucked inside and part of the box closure was torn). Inside, just the mouse in a plastic bubble protector - no booklet, no advertisement, no nothing in the box - just the mouse and the plastic bubble around it! Just seems like something is missing! As if that's not enough - iCUE doesn't even recognize this mouse at all. I have tried all the trouble shooting things - uninstalled mouse from Device Manager (which just shows up as a generic mouse, not as corsair mouse), restarted iCUE many times, restarted PC, did a reset on the mouse (by holding both mouse buttons down while unplugging, waiting 15 seconds and plugging back in as trouble shooting said) -- so far NOTHING has worked! I've also tried it in various ports as well (My previous <RAZER> mouse was plugged right into my K100 keyboard, which is where i first started trying to plug this one in... and then played musical USB ports on my PC).. VERY FRUSTRATING! So while the mouse DOES work and light up - it's set to a VERY slow speed and without iCUE recognizing it, I cannot increase that at all! It's awful! It is supposed to be just "plug and play" but almost 2 hours later, I'm still trying to figureo out how to get iCUE to recognize it! I may have to return it if it doesn't start cooperating :'( UPDATE: 3 Hours later - Uninstalled iCUE and reinstalled it - and now the mouse is FINALLY working!! FINALLY! Much better :) I wish I would have done this first! Never had an issue with iCUE (i also use a K100 and have for like 3 years now, never an issue!) FINAL UPDATE! I ended up exchanging this mouse for a new one because it REALLY felt USED (the right mouse button was worn out) -- I received the replacement today and this time, the box was still factory sealed - it did come with a couple little booklets (the previous one did not include a single thing with it!) - and there is also a HUGE difference between the two already! So I don't know if i was sent a "Refurb" last time or what the issue was - but if you have a similar issue, just exchange it - these are AMAZING and I as much as i "thought" i LOVED my corsair naga trinity (which i only ever used the 12 button side panel with) this mouse actually fits my hand PERFECTLY like it was made for my hand (which is very important!) I don't have petite female hands, but they are similar to small guy hands! Another HUGE thing to consider - iCUE software is SOOO much better than Razer's software! Plus razer tries to "take over" your gaming experience with overlays and all that annoying stuff (mayhaps someone out there actually likes that, but i find it all annoying and disable it all). Corsair is more user friendly. It's just ONE app (as opposed to Razer that has like 3 and for what? lol). I also really like that my keyboard and mouse share the same program instead of requiring different software (I have the K100 keyboard, I highly recommend it or the more budget friendly K70 version - the lighting is really the only difference between the 2) ... show more

  • Could Have Been a Great MMO Mouse, but Just Isn't!
Style: Elite
This mouse could have been great, but it's just not working. It has all the features you would want in a MMO/multi-button mouse. It has 12 comfortable side buttons, RGB lighting that is customizable, high quality braided cable, different profiles that are changeable with the touch of a button, and it even can slide the side button pad forward and backwards based on what's comfortable for your thumb. The problem is that the mouse boots up about half the time as a keyboard in startup (I have Windows 12). Your PC will start up and there's about a 50% chance it will instead start as a keyboard. You'll either have to restart your computer to try your luck again, or you can manually disconnect and reconnect the mouse, which then has it start properly as a mouse. Either way, it will eventually work, but after some annoyance. If you don't do this, all you can do is type numbers using the side number pad (so this verifies the mouse is communicating in some capacity with the PC). And for more context - I have already troubleshooted for weeks using several posts on Corsair's website, as well as various Reddit posts. Those solutions included updating the mouse drivers, updating the Corsair software (iCUE), updating the mouse firmware (done in the software), hard resetting the mouse (which refreshes its internal memory), turning off Fast Boot in my BIOS settings, changing the setting in Windows to allow my mouse to wake up the PC, disabling power saving settings for the mouse, trying different USB ports, and even trying it on a different PC altogether. Nothing has worked to solved this problem, so it is clearly something that Corsair has not fixed. And they have several posts about this very issue, so they are clearly aware of it. Unfortunately, I have gotten to the end of my return window, so I ended up starting the return process. I will just have to buy something else as this is a deal breaker for me. If you want to try your luck, feel free, but save that original box in case you need to do a return too. ... show more

  • Feels Cheap for "Elite"
Style: Elite
I purchased this Corsair Scimitar Elite because I needed a replacment for my Redragon M908 mouse. It had an issue where the #1 and #5 side buttons were activating the same item on the hotbar despite it being in the #5 slot. I tried for several days to find a workaround for the Redragon but finally gave up and purchased this so I am comparing it to the Redragon as well as two Razer Nagas that I've owned. First, I will start with the good. I really like that I can adjust the location of the side pad. Sliding it all the way forward is pretty comfortable and it makes reaching the #10, 11 and 12 buttons easier. I also like that it has a good weight to it. It is noticeably heavier than the Redragon and Razer mice but still very easy to move when needed. Now the bad. The scroll wheel feels very cheap. It has a loud clicking when being rolled and it feels like cheap plastic rubbing against cheap plastic with virtually no smoothness or cusioning. Since both of my Razer scroll wheels stopped working, this gives me great concern and I'm contemplating returning it. Some online reviews suggested that the axis the wheel is mounted on is made of plastic and it has been known to break or stop working but I'm going to give it some time to see if it improves or worsens before making a final decision. ... show more

  • Amazing MMO mouse.
Style: Elite
Always used the RAZER NAGA MMO mice but they are getting up there in price so I decided to take a chance on a different brand figured id test the wired version and if I liked it id get the wireless. Well I love this mouse, will not be going back to Razer. Might order a 2nd one to keep in my desk if this one ever fails but so far its been amazing and the build quality is on point no issues with buttons and the amount of value you get for the price I wish I would have gone this route sooner! ... show more
