This power supply unit (PSU) has surpassed my expectations, providing stable and consistent power delivery while offering a convenient and tidy cable management solution. The standout feature of the Corsair RM750x is its robust 750 Watt power output. This wattage is more than enough to handle high-end gaming rigs and power-hungry components, ensuring that my system gets the required power for peak performance. With an 80 Plus Gold certification, the RM750x guarantees high energy efficiency, reducing power wastage and lowering electricity bills. Its power efficiency also translates into less heat generation, leading to quieter operation and improved system longevity. The fully modular design of the RM750x is a game-changer for cable management. It allows me to connect only the necessary cables, minimizing clutter and maximizing airflow inside my PC case. This results in a clean and organized build with improved cooling capabilities. The PSU's zero RPM fan mode ensures silent operation during low to medium loads, as the fan only spins up when required, keeping noise levels at a minimum, even during intense gaming sessions. • Not for some cases...
Style: RMx Shift (ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0) Size: 850W
This is a great quality product from well-known reputable company, a PSU with great modularity and great performance, and frankly a good value. Lots of connectors and on the shift model, if that's what you're looking at side mounted connection points. Here's where the details come in. Is this PSU is primarily for cases with side mounted PSU slots, while in a wider case this might work in a flat mount situation, most likely you are going to need a fairly wide case to house the wiring coming off the supply without bending the wires too much. Even then in some side mount cases, or the PSU is mounted on its side, the wires sticking upright can still impede on certain things, for example with the Lian-Li o11 dynamic XL, The upright facing ports for the connectors on the wires to plug into impede with the bottom hot swap hard drive bay. Now if I really wanted to press the wires down flat against the power supply unit I could probably still fit the hot swap bay in the case, but it wouldn't give much room for the wires, nor allow for much passive heat dissipation from the PSU. In this particular instance with the case I chose a standard end connector output PSU would have been the better choice, as there is ample room at the end for wiring clutter, but due to the hot swap bay mounted above the power supply unit, the side output of the shift model is not intuitive for my case. Removal of the bottom hot swap bay in my case alleviated the issue, but also presents the inconvenience of not having all four hot swap bays available. I never thought I would use this feature, but over the years as I have acquired multiple hard drives and stored up massive amounts of data, it actually comes in handy for moving data back and forth between drives. So no stars docked for the design it's actually great, just really think about whether or not you need the side output connectors and whether or not you will have enough room in your case. They make it more convenient to plug and unplug additional wires without having to remove the power supply unit completely, however you may run into spacing issues in smaller cases. Situationally recommended. ... show more

  • Well made and great support
Style: RMx Size: 850W
I originally bought this for a browsing only PC and it worked perfectly. Modular connections and the wires that came with were perfect. I had to buy an extension to get to the Motherboard which was on the opposite side! Wish they included that. But it was just few $. Unit itself worked from get go. The fan noise was barely present! If you have nice ventilation, especially you have bottom clearance for air circulation, you shouldnt see the fan spinning much. Lets talk about support. I switched this unit for 1200W (same brand) as I had to upgrade my graphics card and add few HDD. Kept it in its box and after 6 months, when I put it to a new MB/ATX, it wont power up!! Go figure! Probably a faulty unit? Contacted Corsair via phone/email and after few initial hiccups (once their Tech Support got involved) they asked for few pictures, videos and RMA was triggered! Shipped the unit with their label and my new one is enroute! After googling I found out their 2021 model had some such failures for other people. I would still recommend this model, but get the latest one. Whats better than the best PSU, you ask? - Best Customer Support & RMA process. Anyone can say 50 years guarantee, but to stand behind that and replace as promised, thats the brand you should buy. ... show more
