I bought this because my cpu power connection has a slot for an 8 pin and 4 pin power cord. The cables are splittable into two 4 pin cords. The PSU connection is a shared 8 pin Corsair connector. As others have mentioned, there’s an inline capacitor joining two of the wires to one of the 4 pin half’s. There’s also one cable comb per cpu cable. The sheathing is quality and the cables are flexible. So why only 3 stars? Well, the cable comb is not removable and can’t slide down past that weird inline capacitor, so I can’t tuck the unused half of the cable next to the PSU. It’s ugly. So I undid the cables I wasn’t using, broke open the cable comb, and removed one of the 4 pin cables, problem solved. I shouldn’t have to put in all that effort for a premium cable. Simple as that.

Pros: - the cables serve their purpose. Haven’t had any power delivery issues. - comes with 2 cables in the package. Cons: - these cables are not a pure white. Compared to my Asiahorse cable extensions, they are more like the color that you get when you wash your white clothes with dark colors. - braided fabric is fragile, will Frey. - the 1 bulky cable comb that comes attached is impossible to remove.

I am confirming that this is a set of TWO cables in one package. The description doesn't otherwise state this, but it's definitely true. The cables are 750mm in length, about 6" longer than the stock cables that come with the PSU and make it easier to route the cables from the bottom to the top of an average mid-tower case. Worked perfectly with AX1200i PSU about 6 years old.

The product description and photos do not make it explicitly clear, but the package comes with TWO 8-pin CPU cables. This also means that each cable only comes with one comb, not two, which means the cable ended up looking messier than I imagined. I rather prefer the single-wrapped look of the cables that come with the PSU, but couldn't find Corsair-branded cables like that on Amazon. Additionally, the inline capacitor that they chose not to show in the pictures results in a heat-shrunk mess on two of the individual wires. I'm not sure we really need "filtering," but so long as you are able to hide that part of the a cable behind your motherboard tray it's not a big deal. All that being said, for what it is, build quality is solid and the cables are the perfect length for a mid-tower case.
