  • Excellent 60% keyboard with a small problem...
Style: K65 RGB MINI Size: CHERRY MX SPEED Switches Color: Black
I needed a smaller keyboard due to my current living situation. My full, old corsair keyboard took up too much room and the wire was heavy and thick, needed an upgrade. Found this 60% beauty. I really find this keyboard visually appealing and amazing tactile response. I love the cherry keys and they feels way better than my previous keyboard and sound better too. USB-C is a plus and the cable is very lightweight but durable and has good length. The lights are nice and strong and the overall build is wonderful. Two problems: The Fn keys. While I find them useful, having this be a 60% keyboard, I find myself struggling to see the icon on the front face of the keyboard. Especially at night with the LEDs illuminating from the letters. I feel the icons on the front should have some bleed through, or reflective ink to make them more legible. Even just faintly. Second problem is the keyboard does not come with adjustable legs. I was used to the height of my old keyboard so now I have to put a shim underneath back of this one so it isn't so awkward. I feel adjustable legs should be pretty standard for gaming keyboards. I don't think that would be too hard to keep implemented. Overall an excellent keyboard. No issues. No ghosting. Strong sturdy build and scheme. Great LEDs and customization via iCUE app. (The app is finicky but works). 4.5/5 ... show more

  • A must have keyboard. Especially entry to switchable keys swithces.
Style: K70 PRO MINI WIRELESS Size: CHERRY MX SPEED Switches Color: White
I got this in December its now March 11 2023. SO you can tell I am happy with them. The price I had no issue with because I got it when it was discounted but I think its a worse of investment even without the discount. KEYCAPS and SWITCHES The standard key caps have that nice texture great for gaming. You don't have to worry about your natural oils on your hands to get your key caps feel slippery but still clean them tho. the switches that came with mine were the silver speed. What is great about it you can switch out your switches with something you are comfortable with. Reason why I think this is a good entry keyboard to explore switching out switches for beginners. Also I think it's important to have this feature in case one switch goes bad and you can easily pull it out and replace it for a new one. As of other gaming keyboards that have soldered key switches it becomes difficult to do that unless you know what you are doing. This keyboard gets a great plus on easily removable switches. WIRED AND WIRELES I love there is the option of wire and wireless. I prefer wired for gaming and wireless for work. the cable that comes for the wire is great build quality no complaints. The quality of the keyboard itself is great quality no way it breaks for any reason you drop it. APP the application for the keyboard was a bit difficult to use at first but once you mess around with it you get the hang of it. SIZE The size is great I get more desk space for my mouse and headphones and whatever else. fits easily on a mat if you like having one on your desk. The one downside which not a deal breaker if you have it wired you still need to turn on the keyboard there and I think its because of the dongle it comes with it for the wireless feature. but you can use it without because it does have bluetooth which is another reason why I guess it needs an on and off function but it would've been nice to have the wired to work whether the keyboard is on or off. ... show more

  • Finger on the key
Style: CORSAIR OPX Switches Size: CORSAIR OPX Switches Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. Do you want a keyboard where its very easy to press the key ... be it typing an amazon review or running around in a competitive video game scenario? The switches are very easy to activate and there is no wiggle room, as with the traditional red brown blue switches, when it will activate and how much distance the key needs to reset before the switch can be triggered again. My only criticism is the size. I ordered the 75% for the Function Keys. If you dont use those readily then the small size of this is a boon. I will update as I compare with several other keyboards. It completely blows away my DAS 6 Professional keyboard, sadly. UPDATE: Keyboard Super Review (gaming and basic computing perspective) Corsair K65 65%: (OPX Switches, PBT Double-Shot Keycaps) The switches are very easy to activate, there is no wiggle room, as with other switches/keyboards, they will activate and reset with little distance before the switch can be triggered again. This can take some getting used to for twitch competitive gaming. My main criticism is the size. I ordered the 75% for the Function Keys although it has different switches. If you dont use those readily then the small size of this is a boon. The small size takes a bit getting used to, for better and worse, as its very nice to have page up/down so close to the arrow keys, etc. Also, this keyboard is FUN to use, I want to press the keys; despite buying several keyboards to test, I am not a keyboard/switch fetishist either. The size is great if you dont need function keys. Corsair K65 75%: (PBT Dye-Sub Keycaps, Pre-Lubricated MLX Red Linear Switches) The prelubed switches are amazing; I don't know why more keyboards come this way (it is a lot of work to lube them yourself). If you are partial to buttery sounding/feeling switches then this is a good contender. The switch activation point is ideal for my crack FPS playstyle. The bluetooth and wireless dongle are useful for playing on the TV. The sound knob is not easy to turn and is even more difficult to grab with the Home key right next to it. This is my overall favorite keyboard and what I use for computing and gaming. Sadly, it is my least favorite keyboard aestetically, from keycaps to backlight effects. Logitech G915 TKL: The keys on this board are lightweight, which is a selling point. I have large man hands scuffed up from working outdoors with the lifelong dexterity of a computer gamer -- yet the lighter keys can be easier to counter strafe in FPS games. The layout of the board feels natural and I do not misfire keys. Compared to the Corsair K65 with its instant activation, I game much better on this keyboard. My criticism is the Shift key, a common button for games, is a wide key but supported like it is a single wide key, unlike the rest of these keyboards which reinforce the shift key. This can be frustrating when toggling sprint in a game like Tarkov. Ducky One 3 TKL: (Double Shot PBT, Cherry MX Red) This might be my favorite keyboard. The switches have a bit of give before activation which is a concern for my precise FPS gaming playstyle--I am not as confident when a key will trigger compared to some other boards. This is understandable, the Ducky is not marketed as a gaming keyboard; which might also be why it is my favorite to use for typing/word processing. The Corsair, for comparison, has no give and trigger with the slightest force. Maybe its my past habit of using keyboards but I like to put a little weight down on the keys, especially when strafing in games or waiting to press a key. Somewhat unrelated, this keyboard was missing a few keycaps but Ducky mailed me the missing caps ASAP. tldr: Not the best keyboard for freak FPS gaming, short of that it is tied with Corsair K65, with difference being when you like the key to trigger (a little give with Ducky or instantly with K65). Might also be worth noting I am typing a lot of reviews with this keyboard. Logitech G413 TKL: Amazon cancelled my order of this, probably because they doubled the price after I purchased it. Unfortunate because one of my past favorite gaming keyboards was a similar Logitech, which I gifted to my sister. Das Keyboard 6 Professional: (Tactile Cherry MX Brown Switches) This was my old keyboard. It is very disappointing. It is incredibly overpriced. The caps are not PBT (newer, nicer key cap plastic tech). I lubed the switches myself and it is slightly better. I have posted a very long review on its page. Das 4 keyboard was one of the best of its time (cat urinated on mine). I hope the future iterations will be better for Das' sake...since the rest of these boards are almost half the price and better per most metrics. ... show more

  • Nice and compact.
Style: CORSAIR OPX Switches Size: CORSAIR OPX Switches Color: Black
The keys are decently spaced. The iQue software has a good amount of features to setup the colors. I'm used to a more flat laptop keyboard so this takes a bit to get used to but it's nice once I used it for a bit. Response time seems good. I'm not a hardcore gamer or anything so it does what I expect it to do at a fair price. ... show more
